I personally shelve it alongside fantasy & art myself, but it is a glorious daydream.

Oh be still my beating heart.....been looking for a replacement Whisper teapot, (chazza price), for the last 10 years or so, along with a couple of saucers!! You lucky thing0 -
In our charity shop we had donated a bag of new clothes complete with tags and amongst them was a marks and spencer 100% cashmere jumper retailing at £79.00. Unfortunately on inspection the jumper had a tiny moth hole just above the bust line. Would you be prepared to buy it for £5.00 or do you demand perfection.0

Just how noticeably holed and whereabouts along the bust-line?
In a location where a strategic brooch could be deployed if subtle repair was beyond the buyer, or frankly eye catching unless you are skilled?
Price accordingly, but make sure the RRP is also shown...0 -
It was very tiny and it was a v neck so the hole was on the bust edge if you know what I mean. My manager and I have a bet that as to whether the jumper will sell. I say at £5.00 for a jumper that cost originally £79.00 some one will grab a bargain and so something creative with the hole applique etc. I was just interested if people would buy it even though it has a tiny hole.0

I would happily buy it at that price and if I couldn't do something about the hole in order to wear it I would have a bash at making some fingerless gloves 'Turtle Doves stylee' out of it. I took advantage of their 'send us your old cashmere for a free pair of gloves offer' a while back and reckon I could make something similar easily myself

An invisible mender could probably invisibly mend it?
And if you think it's got moth, put it in a ziplock bag in the freezer for a week. I do that with bookworms.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I would definitely buy it - I mend holes in jumpers all the time. Tiny holes are usually more or less invisible if you have a matching colour thread, but for bigger holes visible mending seems to be the fashion, and at that price I would definitely have a go!0 -

I would pay £5 for it, the moths love cashmere so I'm sure there will be more holes over time.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
