My biggest problem is my pc. Seem to spend all the time on here rather than doing other things............We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Hello all. Been reading and nodding along. I like the idea of time sheets Essex Girl. Might have a go at that. Tried flylady but found it took me longer to delete the e-mails than it would have to tidy up!
The dishwasher saved my life - I have 4 kids and washing up after dinner used to send me over the edge! Although now I can't be bothered to empty the darn thing!
I too spend far too long on the pc. Will get off now and go and make some lunch.0 -
just an update am doing a little better but not by much. The new kitchen is being put in while i type but that also mens the house is in even more chaos as nothing is in cupboards and all over the rest of the house while the old kitchen is being dismantled. On top of that i took a 2nd part time job but still have everything going on as in my 1st post.
just hoping now in a few weeks and the house in not in uproar i can get myself a better routine and start sticking to it. i will have a lovely kitchen i will want to keep shiny and new as a good incentive too. lolStill TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

The clean and tidy gene certainly passed me by
When I need to get myself motivated, I get my kitchen timer set for 15 mins. I then tackle 3 tasks (eg, tidy kitchen, sort paperwork, hoover), and rather than aiming to finish the task, just do what I can for 15 mins for each one. I then have 15 mins of R&R :j
That works for me.

Edit - Happy Birthday Mrs B :bdaycake: No housework on your birthday - isn't that the law
Penny thats such a good idea :T
I have such a bad habit of sitting at the pc (only for one minute  ) to chek my emails, then 1 hour later I am STILL there. I happily READ the FlyLady threads, but then only have a few minutes to actually do the cleaning. then I get really annoyed with myself
Maybe if I set myself 30minute cleaning and the a 5 minute sit at the computer, then I will get more done. Thanks for the Tip Penny. xxx0
