I've been doing very little - I had my dentist appointment this morning, that was the focus, and Evri chose to deliver the LED mask just as I got out of the shower afterwards, threatening to take the parcel away unless I opened the door widely. I was not appreciative, let's say.
I might be ready to do something productive in another half hour or so, but we'll see. It might be as simple as making another cup of tea ☕ or I might stretch to putting the dishwasher on 😁2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Sorry to hear about the drama with the awful neighbour. Our awful neighbour eventually moved out and we have such lovely ones now 😮💨3

All I can say is that I hope you told the Evri man where to get off! The cheek of it - your door and your parcel! - SIGH4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I may have closed the front door quite hard on the Evri guy 😶
I'm still feeling poleaxedit's the negotiating dates and whatnot that gets me: I do so little, so how come there are suddenly four events in two days next week? I might well crawl *under* my bed, like the cat did on the first day.
Failing that, a survey, a walk up and down the road, a refusal to answer the phone, and an ebook from the Outlander series. Plus an OTC sleeping tablet tonight. That'll do me.

I can, thanks, madvix - the Thursday is the funeral, and we're not wanted there (among many others, its not personal), and the wake is only an hour long at a pub in the middle of nowhere with our brother unable to drive us to and fro, his priority is his son and his grandsons. I'd already sorted this, but my sister wanted us to get there. She's seen the reality now, and backed off, but it was still a lot of work.
I'd also dealt with the London friend who offered half a dozen dates to meet up but when she chose one for her own calendar needs, expected me to have kept all of them open for more than a fortnight - I've booked a driving lesson, the instructor only has one or two a week.
It's all doable, but its the sort of thing I find **incredibly** draining, I just hate it. I've no idea why. Every single gland in my whole body is throbbing with the stress.
Anyway, the other thing I've booked is the covid jab, at least a week after, on the 2nd November. And that's only because my sister researched it for me - she really does care, I'm just a bad mix of slightly mad and chronic fatigue.2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -
I can feel the exhaustion coming through in your post and I'm glad you've sorted some of it.
But also, if a lot of it is mental stress even about the arrangements and you don't know why, I wonder if you should apply some of your therapy knowledge to yourself? I know you were into heavier stuff, but I'm sure you know the simple tricks to deal with stress in the moment - the tapping etc. - and maybe could ask yourself the questions a therapist might ask about why you feel this way? Don't feel the need to reply, just thought it might help to reframe it. Some of it, obviously is related to your physical health, but you don't need mental blocks making life harder.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I'm glad you've managed to rearrange things KC, and I agree that you do sound proper worn out. These things are so draining! I've been finding it with work lately - I've got SO may things booked in for the next couple of weeks at work that I did have to have a diary clear out yesterday and cancel a few nonessential things, and have declared that NOTHING else is going in my diary for the next two weeks. It's exhausting sorting it all out though, as you say, and the funeral will have all kinds of added emotional strain on the top of the practical arrangements. Take care xx3
