I'm very hopeful, debtfree - I've got it on in another tab, and we'll see.  Just done a tiny one.  Slightly confused about the admin, but that's bound to happen the first day.

Very concerned that I can't find my driving licence.  I had it out quite recently, to prove to my driving instructor that I'd passed my test.  Where it's gone since then is anybody's guess, I'm going to have to deconstruct quite a few areas - I've unpacked a few things to look properly, I'll have to do more.

I've only done half an hour or so of driving licence hunting - more needed.  But I have walked to the local Ford dealership, which is only 25 minutes walk away - its going to be very difficult to find a hybrid with automatic gearing.  It was a good walk, and good to see some cars in the flesh, so to speak.

Good chat with my nice neighbour at the end of yesterday, green bin issues, plus another nice one I don't really know.

More cleaning today, proper level stuff, with a vacuum cleaner 🤣 its freshening.  Though I'm kind of abandoning the dishwasher, oops.

Admin is working - NSandI have accepted the money I sent and opened the account.  Prolific working, I've earned £1.05.  YG survey done for 60p.  £5 rewards money (only £1 of which is actually a reward, the rest is a refunded charge) transferred to my account.

Cat's happy 😺 a bit ravenous, which my niece has WhatsApped that that's a good sign, I think he may be more active here because of the stairs 🤣

Very odd here this afternoon - I've got Joan Baez on youtube, to help drown out the barking dog, but realised there was a *lot* of noise in their front garden.  Then I jumped, when something hit the wall.  Turns out it was a branch of one of their leylandii trees, they're chopping them down to construct a fence.  I think they think I'm the baddy here 🤣 One of the sons of the house (the first one to threaten me) knocked on my door to check whether a non-leylandii tree was theirs or mine.  It's theirs, they asked me not to cut the bit that came over my side, so I never did, but now they've cut it right back, for the fence.  I dashed back into my house as soon as I could - little bit scared of such a burly fit bloke and what he might do, but I *so* don't want to burst out with my anger and disgust, that would create an even bigger problem for me.

In writing this, I've realised I need to check they put the posts on their side of the boundary - otherwise, I could be held responsible for it?  I'm already responsible for 5 of the 6 little fences, I don't want that one as well.

Driving lesson tomorrow morning, there's been another gap because of the puncture last week, I hope it goes well.

Not sure what you mean about it being difficult to find a hybrid with automatic gearing? All hybrids are autos.

Sounds like you've had a very productive day!

Oh yeah 🙄🤐🙃 my brain is slightly confuzzled today, I confess.

Sounds like you've had a very productive day!
The day's been interesting, for sure, I've tried to change things up a bit.

Fence isn't encroaching on my property, he's using the standing trunks of the leylandii as the fence posts, that's fine.  Though the guy is now shouting at the dog in the back garden when he's *inside* the house.  And that's frightening my cat.  So not chuffed with this.

Any chance that the last time you used your driving licence was your first driving lesson

You know what, I never actually showed it to him - I told him I'd done the verification thing online, and we checked my eyesight (which I knew would be fine because of the eyesight test I'd just done) and that was that.  Confession: if I've lost it outside the house, its because I kept it in the inner flap of my book-like phone cover, but I thought I'd stopped doing that, and started keeping it at home again.  Lesson is in the morning, I'll look in the afternoon.

Thank you!  The dog is totally a victim in all this, I feel *so* sorry for it.  The cat will go back to his actual owner in 8 days time and he's just spooked, not traumatised;  I'll eventually have my little car, which I'll just be able to get in and drive a few miles to walk and sit and have a thermos of tea.  But the dog will still be trapped.  They *may* be thinking of keeping it in the front - I don't know, I would never talk about the dog's future with them now.  We'll see, it's not up to me but I'll be sending good vibes for the dog.

So, I'm carrying on juggling things left right and centre :)

    A ta-da list:
    - ordered the much less expensive face mask that LWAP has been mentioning - my skin does need some serious help, though I also need to get with the plan in relation to the Liz Earle cleanse and polish stuff so I can use the mask straight away when it arrives.
    - on brother's advice, downloaded Autotrader app, the choice of cars compared to the website is huge - Honda Jazz is currently the favourite on there, I like it.  Nice and small, automatic, hybrid.  Yum yum.
    - I was up at 6.45 this morning and playing with my lovely feline resident, he was very active for some reason.  And now, instead of lying on my bed, he's lying on my office chair.  No clue why 😂😺
    - dishwasher has done, washing machine is on now.

    A to-do list:
    - email Norfolk rellies, not done so for ages.
    - open up Prolific, haven't done so since I joined.
    - cook the peas and mung beans I soaked overnight.
    - if the coast is clear, another batch of working on the front border with the awful party wall neighbour - they're actually digging up the leylandii and a lot of the ivy - great for me, but I'd like *all* the ivy to go, I can't afford to let it blossom for the bees, it's not in that sort of position, so if it goes, I can plant something less invasive, something that *will* flower, that the bees like.
    - back up laptop, in the evening if necessary.

Secondary to-do list, ie you *know* I'm not going to do these 😂
    - cook chocolate brownies
    - make polenta ready for chips in the next few days.
    - clean shopping, delivered yesterday, frozen, chilled and fresh (!) already cleaned and put away.
    - oh yeah, find driving licence.  Still not found, still not looked.
