Give yourself a bit of a break KC, it's only just a week into September! And you've done some of the stuff... and walks (as a quality of life thing, not even the exercise aspect) are more important - do them when you can!

KC - OH has to take shellfish-free (read vegetarian) glucosamine due to a medical condition where shellfish is banned

He (we) are partial to these ones, they come in a recyclable glass jar and are easy to digest if taken just before food.

Personally I'm partial to these ones with rosehip which I find provides extra support for the achiness!

Maybe if you are set on the vegetarian ones, than an extra dose of rosehip may help? - RT
Thanks for those links, RT, I've opened them and I'll have a look this afternoon.

Oh yeah ... whoops 🙄😁 I forgot about that 🤣  Thank you!

I'm sorting the material for the tags properly, finding some really interesting combinations that are possible.  Plus I need a couple of big pieces of material to act as throws, to protect the new sofa from the moggy, who's apparently decided to start using a sofa to sharpen his claws 🙄    I can't even do that in one go, its too hot right now, so I'm fairly sure I can't do the weeding either.  So I'll do the last bit of the material for the tags, send sister the money for my wildlife centre ticket, and put the washing out from this morning, not in that order :)

"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans".  Yep, tick, got that one.

Friday was taken over by worry, texting and phone calls (me on the phone after 10 at night!  Good grief) and emergency packing.  Brother's daughter in law fell badly at work, has had 7 hours of operations in a specialist hospital, they're pleased with her response, but medically induced coma is ongoing.

Saturday was completely different, we'd booked at a "wildlife farm", my sister's little clan plus me.  Which was lovely.  Plus continued texting for the head injury.

Sleep both nights not *too* bad, I've had my fan going overnight, tho the tinnitus is really loud for some reason.

Today: I need to make some notes for the spaceflight group meeting, assuming I don't need to be up in Liverpool on Tuesday, but its tough - horrible party wall neighbours are out, I think they're out all day, but the dog they keep in the house has been left alone, and its barking since about 8.30.  Also starting to howl every now and again.  I can't spend all day outside, I have a driving lesson tomorrow and I can't be tired for that.  I can't even drown it out with the tv, something's gone wrong with it.  I'll try to use the laptop actually, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Money ... on the back burner right now!  I'll think of this as a work day, not a frustrated rest day.

Oh that sounds awful KC, I hope she continues to improve - it sounds like it’ll be a long journey back though after that many ops.

I hope the poor dog settles down for both your sakes.

Thank you all :) the phrase "life changing injury" is being used, so we'll see.  No further news today, at any rate.  The dog, currently, has subsided completely, somebody's come back home, so it's okay.  I'd put a wash on, for an easy win, but had to bring it in from the line when some rain started.  Just a few big drops, really, so the clothes are just a bit damp, no problem.

I'm going to get going on the spaceflight thing now :)

You & me both, except I tried to finish drying yesterday's almost-dry load first & it's now wet again!  - I've got a load waiting in the machine that needs pegging out! - just under 2.5 hours until sunset - what are the chances it will dry? - LOL
