Thanks RT - I definitely took it easy yesterday: I went a walk, a short local one, to get out into the fresh air and test if I was managing to stay upright, which I was; and in the afternoon I got a shower, which I was a bit concerned about beforehand because of the dizziness, but it was fine. And bliss
Today, I've been sneaky and sent my login newspaper details to my councillor friend; also arranged a trip to my sister's tomorrow to carry on splitting the family photos between the three of us.
And to do today:
- give Virgin Money notice I'm going to close the account.
- faff about with existing Principality account to replace it.
- buy a couple of packs of greetings/ birthday cards (on Amazon, I'm afraid).
- make sure I've thrown out all soybeans. I'm sure it's because of them that I just lost 3 days to nothing whatsoever
- tiny bit of weeding, so I don't *totally* lose control of the garden. I'm going to put my alarm on at 15 minutes.

I recently closed a V1rgin account - but used the switch facility to move to FD (and get £100) so didn't have to speak to anyone because of that, I guess.
I need to stoxk up on cards - some specific and some general ones - good reminder, thank you - will add it to my list!!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £204 -
Are you in from the garden yet? Or have you been swallowed up by the weeds?

Glad the issue of cards popped up for you - these were all different types: adults, children and sympathy - I had 4 sympathy cards in my stash at the beginning of the pandemic, and they're all gone!apple_muncher said:Are you in from the garden yet? Or have you been swallowed up by the weeds?I'm here - I put the alarm on for 20 minutes, and it was all very small weeds, where I want to finally plant the mint towards the end of this week. This weekend will be about chunky bits of weed being chopped up - but I really need to get those mint rooted in. Sage too.
So the weeding can be ticked off the list, and the soybean/rubbish has gone too, including the shoes with no soles left

I was supposed to do The Splitting Up Of The Photos today with my sister - had to postpone yet again because I feel dizzy and nauseous again, though it's better now. I'm wondering about Goldie Girl's problems with her ear issues ... I'm moving about as little as possible, but I've managed to put the dw on. That's all
Oh, though I've checked the PBs, and nothing, bah
I'll try to do the Principality toing and froing, and if the Virgin money *has* arrived, by some freak of nature, I'll buy some more PBs.

I'm not keen on soy beans because they are all genetically modified as I understand it (due to the trials being too close to regular crops and poor regulatory controls). I very occasionally eat edamame if that is the only option but they never really agree with meSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

(I tend to avoid soya - I appear to be overly susceptible to it from a phyto-oestrogen point of view, which totally messed up my hormone levels when I was eating/ drinking it - I just occasionally now have a very small amount of soy sauce in cooking)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £205 -

Thanks both
I definitely feel worse in the mornings, which is confusing to me, as it's the opposite from how I usually am. Most inconvenient.
Birthday cards etc have started to arrive - I wish I'd remembered to also order all that ant killer pump spray, but such is life
20 minutes weeding done - baby sedge, a couple of other types of unwanted perennial. It's something.
