I read the Guard1an article and have printed out forms for us to opt out - not sure whether DH, DD and DS1 want to - I'll leave it up to them. However, I will opt DS2 and DS3 out- then can always opt back in going forward.I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £203

That's a good idea to opt out on behalf of the younger ones, greent - in the future, sharing more will be easy, if they choose that route, but taking back information if they *don't* want to share would be impossible.
Beanie, madvix - yep, even though I took it easy, I slept really well for a change, it was lovely. Haven't tried the new sandals on yet, I'll do that this afternoon when my feet have done their thing for a bit.
Today, there's tiddly things to do. The financial thing would be to download all the statements that I've let build up *again*. Must use up some of the soft cheese I bought last delivery, with a "Use By" date, which I really do pay attention to. Get the w/m on, and soak some beans, that would be good. Crushing some nuts would also be good. I need another flash drive, to act as 2nd backup for all this genealogy info. Weeding! That's the physical thing to do, the ordinary weeds are horrendous right now, I've let them go. That's a good mix of things. Oh, and find some flat shoes to walk in from my stash - I've completely used up the ones I'm using, they're 80% detached from their soles! Quite interesting
8 items, all quite short, I might be able to do that lot. We'll see.

Not going too badly today ...
- texted bro to arrange to talk
- wm on, laundry on the line by 12.30
- beans are a-soaking.
- nuts got crushed. Hazelnuts - one bang per nut, and they're done (enough), I've discovered.
- downloaded statements. Ahem, now I have to put them in the right place, I can do that this evening.
- used lots of soft cheese at lunchtime.
I have a basket of goods at Amazon, I'm repeat buying a type of flash drive I already have, but the P&P is the same price as the drive (£4.89 each!) Morally, I can't do that. I had a hunt, and the basket now contains 2kg of organic butter beans, £3.26 each, and a kilo of raw whole cashews at £9.99. Prices are fine, I compared them to where I normally buy them, they total about £5 cheaper. Not quite ready to buy yet - I may do it later on, I think I'll get £20 of the pinecone vouchers so I'm only paying £1.50 in money
I can't bring myself to do the shoes/sandals things, we'll see. After I have a cuppa, it might be okay to go weeding. Doing well.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Good afternoon campers
a fair few jobs I didn't finish yesterday, and today I went on a council healthy walk, plus the usual long chat with sister, plus started to find homes for all the downloads. However, quite a few jobs from yesterday are left undone, so today and tomorrow have the same to-do list, which gives me no excuse to start shirking again
1. put wm on, there's a coat I haven't washed.
2. 20m weeding today, 20m tomorrow.
3. garden tidying - weeds left out to dry have now dried. Get them into the green bin.
4. the soaked beans are cooking right now, thankfully - make sure they go in the f/f and the washing up goes in the dw, life's too short to cater to that twice.
5. get Amazon vouchers from pinecone - definitely want to do the "use vouchers first" thing.
6. once they register, buy the shopping basket, nb ant spray also needed, desperately!
7. ring bro tomorrow morning.
8. carry on placing the downloads - there aren't as many as I thought there were, but it needs doing.
9. finances: set up the regular transfers. Principality, and the new Virgin one. Should go smoother this time.
10. find a craft knife and cut out the daisy shaped stitching on my walking shoes that have just fallen apart 🌼
11. Uh oh ... I *still* have unwashed shopping hanging around in my porch.
12. And I have to do some cleaning before I can have a workman come near my house to measure windows.
Oh dear😲
