Got a few photos I can put up, all from the one garden visit yesterday. Ducklings are at the village pond, not the garden.2023: the year I get to buy a car7

Thanks! I'm really proud of that flower pic, but the colour's completely, fantastically wonky - it wasn't purple, it was a very light blue. Sorry 🌼
Personally, I like the swimming pool cover 👍 though seriously, it was the wildlife pond and the huge dragonflies that made my day 🐝 (that's a bee, closest I could find!).
I've been emailing, including to lovely New Jersey rellie, as one of our own in Scotland seems very unwell, and plotting out the possibilities in Somerset. Deer Rescue is no longer an optionAlso getting rid of some more summer snowdrops, so I can plant my scabious right on the bit of the main garden nearest to where I walk. Bay "tree", which still hasn't really taken off, can be repotted and fed. My quince is still alive, though it now needs drastic pruning, and maybe I can plant it in the sun again.

Is it a UV filter on the lens? That generally deepens blues .

Thanks all, glad you liked them! Chiglepig, there *may* be a filter on the lens, but it wasn't put there by me
I'm very basic on phones.
I went to my healthy walk thing this morning - the county warden was there (sounds dreadful, but she's lovely, I promise!). Still a very small group though. While it's still hot right now, I'm tempted to focus on clearing paperwork in the office and the porch, so I can then take care of other, bigger stuff. And sweep the floor, that would be nice. Well, not nice, but you know what I mean
I let go of two pinecone surveys over the weekend. Grrr. They're so well paid, daft not to do them. I'll wait till it cools down before trying to do any repotting.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
