I've done more than I realised:
- healthy walk, small numbers, went well.
- supermarket delivery - got about two thirds of it washed and away.
- backed up computer in full.
- bit of vacuuming (first time in a long time, oops).
- bit of weeding (just half an hour)
- washing done, dishwasher done
I was a bit tired after that lot, so I sat here watching a nonsense tv programme and deleting emails - reordering things to "sender", as was recommended on here, it went fast. Inbox for my yahoo email is now under 10,000 **whistles innocently**. My thinking is that if they start to charge for it suddenly, I'd be in trouble! And it feels .... lighter.

That sounds like plenty, not surprised you're tired!
Our work changed our email system so you can't reorder by sender, and it is SO annoying. Yes, you can search for particular senders, and filter so you can only see emails FROM them (not ones which mention them) but still - under the old system you could just do it a single click which made it SO easy to come back from holiday and delete all the junk before starting on the real stuff. Most vexing!

What's on the cards for today?I do have an ambition to cook my version of the frugal brownies on here, though. This morning, had a holiday confab with sister, tried to have one with brother but he's needed to go to bed, poor lamb. I'm going to go out for a walk in a bit, before the schools get out, and I'm assembling the holiday gubbins - there's much more than there used to be, because of the palaver around going inside places - Montacute House, Fleet Air Arm Museum, all sorts of bits and bobs - laundry is essential.

she was a rescue cat, terrified of life but top dog
over her companion, who we think was her son. I've resisted all talk of the Rainbow Bridge, I don't think that would go down well, but I'm convinced she'll get on well with mine when she meets them there.

Morning all! Everything at the moment is associated with the few days away - pre-booking tickets because of covid, extra cleaning gear to take with us, taking lots more clothes than usual so we can wash things, it's quite a palaver.
I went on a bit of a walk yesterday, and checked out my new sandals, they're fine, though if I'd been buying in person, I'd have checked out the next size up. Still, they're velcro, so very adaptable.
More rain today! Some of the garden is really out of control, and by the time I come back it will be out of control over the whole area, sigh ... I abandoned it for a month or so a while back, and that was a *big* mistake, but I'm not going to try to catch up before I go away, that way lies burnout.
Meanwhile ... packing, sorting, cleaning, plus a telephone booking with an actual friend in actual RL, astonishing!2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Thanks Promonkey
she hung on for quite a while, and wasn't in pain, but a change in her symptoms told them it was her time to go
My walks the last two days have been local, and late afternoons, and I've seen almost a dozen cats over those walks, I'm so chuffed

So nice to get out and about!
I'm loving the idea of sandals that adjust with velcro! These days swelling feet have become a reality so those might just do the trick for the walk from work to the station!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
