Afternoon all! Just lost a huge post, argh. But basically, I was out walking this morning with my sister on a new route I'd checked out, came back to the news about Prince Philip. I'd just watched the last 30 minutes of BlackKkKlansman too.

Numbers one to eight were carried over from February
I've done a lot else, of course:
welcomed the new baby, lots of online shopping and postage
Virgin Money made me work hard! Took ages.
Quite a bit more cooking than usual. Okay, cooked twice.
Emailed a few rellies, including for another new baby.
Got a bus pass!
Census. Prevarication took a lot of time.
Lots of online genealogy work over Easter. I count that!
And my fun writing project, whether or not I publish. 15,000 words and counting.
But planting the first seeds is becoming a matter of urgency. Can't do that today, but will focus on it tomorrow.

16. Sort my tech: digital library from my council library is changing, can I connect my printer to my new laptop, get 2nd kindle working, that sort of thing
17. Emails: check ratesetter, 3 more rellies to email, a friend to phone.
Given that after today, there's 3 weeks left, and that I really *want* to write more of my fun thing, there are a few doubts about my completing this lot. But some are half done, and you never know

Finance upkeep:
1. Ratesetter money has arrived, finally - they were emailing about problems, and I was holding my breath a bit. All good. Fulfils the reward requirements for the current account too.
2. Next two RS payments to Principality have gone out.
3. Sent another £1500 to PB.
I'll have to rejig my NW figures at the end of April, a lot of stuff has moved around. Its all good!
Looks really unpleasant outside today, I'll check and then maybe start on the "clear slate, put down hard core" element of my April list, which would also clear the patio a bit.

I've just watched Gardener's World, and I have Nottingham envy - St Ann's Allotments. Each allotment has its own hedge, and its own little wooden door, I kid you not. Bliss.2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
I totally agree re St Anne's allotments - that sort of enclosed environment stops the pilfering of produce that sadly occurs on lots of urban allotment sites, and creates a lovely enclosed micro-climate. Lots of bind-weed and ivy in the hedges I thought, with the potential for spreading...Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Good morning! Oh ... good afternoon
chatting too long on the phone to bruv. And I've not done anything else yet either
so, I'm not coming back on here (my own thread) until I've put the dishwasher on - I have no clean dishes or pans, I recycle the minimum continually - and then planted the seeds. Last word! Yikes.
