Urgh - how annoying about the gate :( hopefully not damaged? You'd think they'd perhaps think of trying the other way if they met resistance! 🤦‍♀️ - am sure  a sign would be helpful, though  :)

It seems crazy, doesn't it!  But I do remember when I came to view, I did something similar myself, pushing on a gate that was mysteriously not-opening.  People don't think about it, you just don't expect a gate to open outwards onto the pavement.  Definitely need a sign :)

I spent the morning out on a walk with my sister, elongating it by circling a few blocks here and there.  A bit of rain, but nothing too dreadful.

I have tasks that really need to be undertaken in the next few days:
    - fund the Virgin account.
    - apply for a bus pass - I've no idea what the backlog is, but I bet there is one.
    - see if I can book my 2nd vaccine.  Bro and sister both have their dates, and the letter that arrived after I'd had my 1st one does mention booking.  It's essential for the holiday that it's done by the end of the first week in June, which seems plenty of time, but I have my suspicions about that.
    - plant seeds: again focussing on the holiday, it's only 5 days, but I want the young plants to be nice and healthy by the time I go off, well able to withstand things.

Those items only cover 3 items on my March to do list, which is still very bare, though other items are on the way - sorting office, sorting 2nd bedroom, clearing slate underneath the kitchen and laying hardcore, researching eco cleaning, all of those items are started.

...As well as all the other faffing about that you have to do as a human being  >:)
Oh KC - this comment just has me in stitches!  I've been reminding colleagues this week that human being breaks are very necessary between zoom & e-mail & general on-line work! In fact on that note, I'm off for a spot of lunch, hopefully outside in the sunshine with the OH to soak in the rays
