Thanks beanie. I feel a bit bad in carrying on with them, but it felt like the line of least resistance, especially as, I agree with you, they're all as bad as each other.
Anyway .... two more financial items that have the potential to be ticked - I'll start with Coventry, checking the ISA there. I have my list of my cash ISAs, so I'll find which of those companies has the "best" rate and go with that one, I think. I could finish clearing the porch toobut I doubt there'll be any work outside today, frost is still there, yikes, its **cold**.

So, Coventry have one of those perfectly reasonable things where the temporary re-set they send you by post will expire in 10 days. So no go there today online. I've re-ordered the re-set thing
This is the issue with leaving things halfway through. Oh well
Onwards to Pinecone. Since I already have the vouchers, there may be shopping involved

That was intense! There *was* shopping! But one item was out of stock by the time I got to the checkpoint (fleece lined gloves, ha, I'm not surprised) so I had to input everything twice, as well as learning how it went. Fiddly, but actually fine. So, I have bought:
- beechwood salt and pepper mills - I really need these, weirdly.
- seafood picks - a stockingfiller present for the Norfolk rellies.
- 2 low energy lightbulbs (having renewed 3 this week, I don't have any low energy ones for the standard bayonet fitting).
- set of 5 organic cotton sleepsuits for a 6 - 9 month old, there's a new baby next month.
- and instead of the gloves, I got a burnt orange beanie hat, pure wool, with a flower knitted on.
Since I had £45 in Pinecone JL vouchers I'd earned, I paid the grand total of £5.25 for that lot, and free delivery because it was over £50. Very happy.
That's also another item on my Big List ticked. 11.3% done, 13/115 items2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
ooooo - a bit of shopping therapy - I love it!
These days, the only shopping I do is for groceries - lol - my sister from across the pond was horrified that I'd not bought anything new to wear in a year - I'd not the heart to discuss fast fashion vs. quality that lasts - that's a conversation for another day post-pandemic any offense caused will be easily brushed away4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! And they're fine!

2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
I've done another job that's been hanging over me this afternoon (as in, hanging for **months**, seriously). That 16kg sack of flour, from a wholesaler? I've brought it down from the 2nd bedroom, cut it open, and spooned it out into the containers I've been amassing for a couple of weeks - I *just* managed. I've even put the sack in the recycling, it's paper, and the first set of jars (big glass jars that contained 900g of beetroot or olives or something) is in the freezer for a few days. As things get straighter, I'll use more of the flour, but I'll also be using sellotape to seal the rims - no use asking for trouble from flour mites.
Very happy with accomplishing that - no more today, cuppa tea for me.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
