Still 25 degs, rain never turned up, I do not normally do too hot.  I think last time but one was may bank holiday 1963 & last time was Malta 1986 or 87.  If only it would melt the fat it may be worth it!
  • Raining here and the poor guys doing the garden room roof won't come inside! Maybe it's a relief working in the rain but it's tipping it down!

It finally chucked it down here this morning - just managed to cut the grass (at 8.30 am!) first. Feels much fresher now, thank goodness!

Still no sign of the promised rain here.  The temp is "only" 26 degs so down on yesterdays noon of 30, but it is greatly helped by a slight breeze.  I don't think I have ever posted about the weather until this week!

We had rain in the night - quite a lot of it, but now you would hardly know!
And the lounge thermostat was reading 26 degrees at 8am...

You could add NAP to that list and then have 3 choices 🤣🤣🤣

I'm gumpily sitting inside today as it keeps switching between brilliant sunshine and ark-like deluges!  The grass is happy for the water & I mangaged to get outside & garden over my lunch break!

Have to teach another member of staff how to use a bit of software.  Sometimes that 'transferable skills' subset is a hindrance to getting real work done - lol .  This time I was told that IT blokes treat me like a dummy...   I bit my tongue! - we've been using the software for 5 years SIGH

Several years ago at work, I was told by the IT guy that I was an 'honorary geek'. I wore my smug face for weeks! And it still makes me smirk!
