Wow, RT, just goes to show!  Hope your meeting went well in all the ways that matter.

I haven't showered yet - I'm doing the bathroom bit by bit, sitting down between times, ye gods and little fishes, it's hot!  Plugholes are unblocked enough for use by visitors next week at least, sink is clean, shelf and windowsill are clean, bath surround is clean, started on the edges of the floor (tiled, but *really* filthy).  Thank heavens its proper ceramic. 

It's gone 3pm, so sitting out in the shade will be getting nice quite soon, plus a walk up (and down ) the shaded part of the rec ground just by me.  Really hot still, and still no thunderstorms.  I'd really appreciate some rain right now.

Feel free to send some of the sun and warmth northwards! It is 17-18C here and very grey. Not remotely sunny either. It is better that yesterday which was the 1st day for a while where I wished I'd taken a cardy with me as I was cold! It rained heavily overnight. Was supposed to be thunderstarms today but it has mostly just been grey and depressing instead...

I've been sitting at the laptop for an hour in a meeting and  my fingers and toes are really cold.  Its cloudy and raining and getting quite dark already here.  Bleurgh.....

Still grey here! The sun is trying to come out but isn't very successful! The rain and thunder / lightning must have just missed me here as neither of you are exactly a million miles away!

I'm boiled.  Not a phrase you will often hear on my lips.  I was in the car earlier & thought it was about 3.30pm but looked at the dashboard & it said 305 so thought oh I'm doing great getting things done much faster than I thought.  A few minutes later it dawned on me that it wasn't 5 minutes past 3 it was over 30 degs.  It is still over 27 degs!  Weather forecast wrong again!

Be careful what you wish for - we've had continuous lightning for almost three hours 😮😮 literally rolling round the sky light a strobe light, I've never seen anything like it, it's quite disconcerting 😮

Same here. Since about 9pm last night & still going strong at 6 am. 

Power has been on & off.
