Hi Cheery - yes, its exactly that
ticking off the longer term ones - there'll always be shorter term stuff, but just cutting down the number would be good.
Hi RT! yep, bit by bit - just been chatting about that in terms of stabilising weight - literally, doing one exercise is better than not doing any!On the pension front, I've got an Aviva webinar on Thursday, and I've just heard that one of my nephews who works with pensions has a lot of clients asking to transfer into cash, from stocks and shares ... hmmm. I'm due for that anyway, its about 3 years since I fiddled with the proportions of shares and cash in my pension funds, so thats something to be done too. I'd already been thinking of a bit of drawdown - this would be a good year to do it, because its easy to stay under the tax limit, and because commercial rents are about to dive - and the main holder of commercial space is yes, pension funds.Otherwise, all good here - chatted with sister, dishwasher has finished, I confess I'm still doing the odd swagbucks thing (11 pleasurable points a day, and accepting that swago gets me 5 points, ha!) Just drafting an email to my London friend, and then, the Big Decision Of The DayI've decided to load up the printer with the new cartridges, so that I can print out the overseas postage online, rather than faffing about in a post office. I'm so looking forward to the next items I can cross off the list

I predict an avalanche of printing in karma land...!

I confess I haven't even loaded the printer yet, oops ... rain like this makes me very lazy, for some reason. But I have updated the security document so many times that its now worthwhile converting it to pdf format and safeguarding it elsewhere, which I've done. Only temporary, but a good halfway point. I need to glug some water and finish off the green bin - its all soaking, but luckily I still have the stuff I cut yesterday hanging around, as well as twigs/small branches from a million years ago.

I get you. It's like the rain washes away your mojo! I'm watching recordings of replays of the rugby world cup from 2013. So the rain ain't spoiling that!

I'm glad its not just me, apple
On tv, I'm watching a weird selection: I bingewatched Killing Eve, at the moment I'm watching almost anything that Lucy Worsley puts out (she's doing a Russian thing, and I went there for a couple of days last year, after all!) Plus Buffy the Vampire Slayer (two episodes a day) and Broadchurch, which has just finished the first season. My usuals of Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You. A lot of this is while I'm on the computer, its just running in the background
Today, I've recovered somewhat, I'm going to catch up on things half-done - I'll do a ta-da list at the end of the day, not a to-do list2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -

The rainy weather yesterday wiped me out as well! By the end of yesterday all I wanted to do was sleep & sleep & sleep! Today it's sunny but super windy so sitting outside working whilst wearing OH's warm wool sweater! (Mine are all packed away while I pretend it's summer

Weird, isn't it - it must be a mini-winter adaptation! I admire you managing to work outside at your job in the wind that we had, it was a bit fierce! It took me about a thousand years to manage loading up the printer cartridges and finding the right postage and printing it and sticking it on the envelope and getting it to a postbox:D:D - yes, I was in a timeslip, okay
Lovely surprise in that my sister popped round with her new car on the way home from the garage where she bought it - the old one was starting to need hefty amounts of dosh at service time, so it was great to see this one brand spanking new.
I'm doing tiny little bits of tidying, plus the washing machine is on for my duvet cover, but thats that. That printing was fierce! And just like apple said, there *is* something else - I can print out the map of the Open Front Gardens Festival in the local village, to take round with me next week, hurray

Oooh, you can make it like a treasure/scavenger hunt, and cross off the locations as you visit them...
