Ooh, yes - I'm both! I've been standing up and giving speeches/ roaring about on the dancefloor with cameras following me, since I was 17 or so
but I can also literally hide away from people
and be a complete slob. No slobbing today tho! Not only did I do 2 hours walk this morning, I did half an hour cutting back ivy (standing on a chair with loppers) and *another* walk - to balance me out after the lopping experience
plus I decided to try to start the next set of finance stuff:
- needed to log on to my bank account. I have forgotten my pinso I'll have to phone them tomorrow - website talks about re-registering, gulp.
- decided to tackle a supposedly easy one, the magnetic knife rack that didn't arrive after a six week delay. Missed out on their call centre times by 2 mins, but when I opened up my email, I found an apology from them and the promise of a refund! Great minds.- I've got the paperwork ready to phone cahoot re the dormant account, that has £240 in.Considering how late I started the finance stuff, I'm pleased with that. A shame I've forgotten the pin though

Ha, I was about to write my to do list, but there it is, with the addition of using the washing machine, preparing the dishwasher and having a shower: phone the bank, log on to the bank, and phone cahoot. That could go well

Extroverts regenerate by being with lots of people. Introverts regenerate by being alone. The borg regenerate by plugging into the ship. Dr Who regenerates by Timelord wizardry. But there's an awful lot of overlap too...Looking back, I was surprised at how I have coped with people 24/7 (albeit my nearest and dearest!). But I think that not being in the classroom removed the big need for solitude I previously had. And I'm still up at least an hour before everyone else, so am still getting my me-time.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Hurray! All good for me
I like all of that! And I do find myself ticking the extrovert *and* introvert boxes, as you say. I wish I was a Time Lord, though
List has gone okay: washing is out on the line, some of the washing up is in the dishwasher, don't expect to have a shower yet in any case (not till after a bit of garden digging).- I phoned the bank. I can re-register completely online and be able to use it after an hour or so, no postal shenanigans needed. Haven't done it yet, because ...- shenanigans are the order of the day at cahoot - I'm *so* glad I don't need that account open! They want ID, fair enough, but they wanted it printed out. I'm trying not to use my new cartridges for this carp, £35 seems steep for all this. After two long "on hold"s, they grudgingly agreed I could do it online. My email to accompany this was dictated to me - which is fine, I don't want it rejected, after all. But the **effort** I needed to put in to this perfectly ordinary request was alarming.I put a complaint in about the policies that necessitated me sounding like a loon before I could do it all online, and to be fair the staff, poor things, have already come back to me - what the staff have done is fine. Well, it is, but my complaint wasn't about the staff. They very nearly got snarky with me too - they didn't seem to understand the concept of a complaint about *policies*. If I can get a passport and work with HMRC online, surely I can withdraw £228 from an old savings account? In the covid era?/endrant.Took a walk, saw a couple more garden festival front gardens - I think I'm a convert to hollyhocks, ??? they were covered in bees.Local charity shop had a nice wide sprouter for £5, they've put it by for me - I went two steps inside and shouted across the room. I'm getting braveI'm going to do the cahoot email and finish the finances for the day, draft is already written, its diarised for the end of August.Hope everyone has a good evening!2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
I'm totally with you, Karma! Having set up an account online with one bank no issue they then called to say they wanted an original ID document or certified copy to change my address... other banks asking for a phone call to change the address while also having a message on their websites asking people not to call because of COVID demandChoose kind4
