OOh I want one! Love sprouting seeds in a saladChoose kind5
-
Sorry guys! Yes, taka's shown exactly what it is - they can cost up to £20, so I'm happy with a fiver. I experimented with sprouts last year, and I'd actually toss them in with my frozen veg, I think, usually - though a salad would go really well in summer, yes, I eat beetroot and tomato quite often. The nutrition is sky high in sprouts, so I'm happy.I did a click and collect, shop guy was a bit snotty to me but at least all the shopping was there. Otherwise, I was organising rubbish! Ridiculous! Not just the recycling, but also lots of green garden waste, it involves quite an effort to get it from the back over the stuck side gate. And then a **hot** shower2023: the year I get to buy a car8

Well I hope you were snotty right back!!!!! The nerve of some people!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!6

Thanks RT
much as I'd like to say yes I was snotty right back, the reality is that if a click and collect guy ignores you, and refuses to move your stuff to a safe space when he can't ignore you any longer, there's not much to be done. I'll give it another go - but I'll also see if Waitrose do click and collect too, their pesto is just as nice even if it is more expensive. I like sainsbo not being in a building, though, its good.
Anyway! Just had a nice long chat with sister mine, and she's checked up on the probate leftover account much more recently than me, its the bank she banks with in any case, and there's nothing I need to do. I'll just check in with bruv, let him know they contacted me, and thats that, thank heavens.Another day of finishing things off: accepting the quote from the fencer, tidying the remaining green rubbish (had to move neighbour's bin, and he's back today!), a card to Singapore, check family birthdays, update finance doc - little jobs that grease the wheels of everyday life. Checking on here first, of course2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
Oops, didn't really do many of the little jobs, though I worked hard on the green rubbish, front and back. Cleared some ivy away from my quince too, it's formed the fruits, so they need as much sun as possible. I'll have to actually buy some stamps for the card - impossible to reach £1.63 in postage and still leave enough space on the envelope for the address2023: the year I get to buy a car6

I don't envy you the ivy battle KC - we have a patch under the lilac tree that I started on yesterday evening - it was like playing tug of war to rip it out of the ground and trim it right back. I ache today shoulders, back, neck - ouch ouch ouch! 😜4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I have a similar battle at the front, RT - it's infesting the border thats about to be opened up by my *other* neighbours - they were advised to plant it, but I think it's crazy right by a house, its much too vigorous. The stuff I was chopping yesterday is coming over a fence and deluging my poor quince, so I have to raise the loppers a couple of feet above my head, which is kind of tiring (and I get a lot of dusty ivy carp all over me!).Anyway, its raining, so none of that right now
I've been on the genealogical hunt for the lateral ancestor who married two millionaires, one after the other of course
Much more fun!
2023: the year I get to buy a car7 -
Genealogy was fun - this woman has left so many tracks behind her, because of the artists she married, plus she's the one who rented Agatha Christie's house during the war. I had a bit of a walk to stretch my legs, but the rain came back, heavily, so not as much as I hoped.Today, its stopped raining, for sure, So its about collecting rubbish for the green bin, and I might actually get my new computer logged online and see what updates I need to make, it will take a while but I'll have a video playing in the background. I also need to complete current updates of my security document, even though there's more to do: three is enough at any one time, and thats what I've got.Have a good weekend all!2023: the year I get to buy a car6

1. Put mastercard onto automatic, go paperless.
2. Update my security document. In process.
3. Check what savings accounts are active.
4. Standardise the details I have on them.
5. Some savings accounts have expired, shuffle money.
6. Pinecone - find the cashed out £45 of JL vouchers.
7. Use some cash to up my premium bonds amount.8. Withdraw some money from ratesetter while I'm at it?9. Still named on the probate bank account, check with brother.Just managed to update my security document - almost forgot what one set of figures wasStill got to do the above items - I thought I'd allowed plenty of time for this, for a change, but obviously not! Not sure about withdrawing money from ratesetter any more - I certainly don't want to do it right now. I might be able to do the bulk of that by the end of July ... I'd really like to, I want the focus shifting, on the finance level, to MBing, plus I have the fencing guy coming soon (hopefully) and crafting and getting rid of the last of the bramble roots. Plus a little bit of work with sealant to keep out certain unwanted guests
Going to have a break right now, of course

That list is dwindling nicely! I wonder whether any of us will ever get to a point where all financial life admin is done?! I suspect there will always be something around the corner... Great that you're ticking off some of these longer term things though, well done, such a good feeling isn't it?6
