Thank you both 💋💋 Greenbee, that makes sense of why pressing the same button on different threads had different results - it'll smooth out eventually, which is good. RT, the bedding is brilliant - the sheet is plain, which is what I wanted, but the pillowcases are these cats in spacesuits
which I adore
Off to beddie byes now - not with the cats just yet2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
🤷 (shrugs) I can't find any hugs emojis I like, and my notifications only shows (all) my badges which take up the whole screen if I click on all notifications. The FOMO thing is going on in my head as I had 66 this morning (although one or two threads have 6 or 7 posts)
Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

My new diary is here6 -
I'm leaving the emojis for now as well, SL - I went to the link greenbee showed, and it was a diy site - useful in its own right
I like emojis, so thats a bit sad.
So, Ciara is quite loud sometimes! Nothing's come off the roof this time, which is good. Kind of stuck in the house by the wind, It's not as if there's nothing to do insidethough I think its a question of a ta-da list, since I'll just do what I fancy, its a Sunday after all
Hope everyone has a pleasant day today!

The wind really was/is something on the volume scale isn't it Karma? It's picking up again here now.
As you say, couldn't the forum people have sorted out some sort of idiot's guide to the new forum? Even if it just told us what it can/can't do compared to the old one it would be helpful to know!

Good evening! Didn't get blown away - but quite tired, it has to be said. Still haven't done all sorts of things that I've listed on here, but hey ho - I've done lots of things that I *didn't* list, but still needed to do
Most are focussed on cleaning that hasn't been done in months (years?) and on getting photos and papers sorted. Worthy but uninteresting
I'm enjoying the odd binge on my DVD recorder - at the moment, it's Inspector Montalbano, he's like a Sicilian version of Morse, but with even more alcohol

My JL vacuum cleaner was delivered today! Less than half the price of the Dyson. Delivery was *supposed* to be the typically appalling 11 hours out of any one day, for the next two weeks, but they wouldn't just leave it in the front garden, they'd try 3 times to deliver it, the emails are quite clear on that. So then this afternoon, I found a guy at the front fiddling about with my rubbish bin
and yes, he was trying to hide my new vacuum cleaner. In the rain. The minute I get any "how was your service" I'll tell them. If I can bear to take the time, I'll get active with the complaints department. Anyway, at least the delivery made me clear the area immediately inside the front door, which had become seriously disgusting
I don't think thats the emoji I really want, as it was **appalling**, but there we are!
And ... you guys remember I have an apartment in France, right? Guess where it is (I've mentioned it earlier on in this thread, I swear its true). Yes, Les Contamines-Montjoie. Sigh ...And .... I used to live right on the south coast, right? And guess which GP Practice I went to? Yep, County Oak. More sighs ...2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
Have heard similar about JL delivery... not what you expect!
Aah, but the key thing is that you never go to your apartment and you’re no longer at the surgery... so you’re safe!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
