Time for a little giggle here. I put myself in your friend's situation for a moment. Bearing in mind that I am just a tad antisocial. I occasionally stay at my "friend's" house for more than overnight. After 2 nights I am running for home & the poor man just doesn't understand why & I just can't explain it. 6 nights in someone elses house would be a form of torture. I would far rather stay in a hotel. One night when I wasn't feeling well I almost left in the middle of the night , except that it seemed just too rude even for me.1

The good thing is, that as she set the arrangement up by email, you can email her back. Much easier than doing it face-to-face. But definitely do it asap both to stop you thinking about it and so she has plenty of time to make alternative arrangements.
I have a couple of friends I can spend more than a night or two with, but it's unusual.1 -
I love you people :j "Do it soon, for her sake" is exactly what my sister said
This "dread" is weird, isn't it, FS - my friend is not only a nice person, she's a *good* person. Not coping with her is my issue, absolutely.
And I can't tell you how reassured I am by badmemory and greenbee and your limits for staying over.
I've had the council walk and some admin, and when I've finished watching Escape to the ChateauI'll be doing some actual work  I'm plotting a visit to one of my Egyptology towns, which has a JL (for a vacuum cleaner) and a Lidl (for tinned beans, half the price of Sainsbo). But now, it's time to do the French paperwork. Life goes on
2023: the year I get to buy a car1 -
Right, got to get my act together a little bit. Lots of little bits:
- pay in to bank account to meet T&C
- pay cc
- transfer voucher from SB to Amazon.
- couple of emails I need to write
- phone sister, she's off to the USA tomorrow
- put the wm on - its sunny out there!
I've also been plotting to buy some brushed cotton pillowcases (I lurve them, and all I've got is worn polycotton). M & Co have been recommended to me, they have a sale on, life is good. They have a double duvet set of 2 pillowcases and duvet ... cats in astronaut suitsit tickles me tremendously, and I want something patterned for the pillowcases, but I'm a little concerned that they stand the test of time, ie I'll still like them in a year :rotfl: I want it all, basically :rotfl: I might price plain ones at JL since I'm visiting a store later in the week. I want cats in spacesuits, though :rotfl:
ETA - plus I gathered my French papers yesterday, and they're ready to do. And sawing off the odd branch of cherry laurel wouldn't go amiss either - now that I'm not dreading being overwhelmed in March, I have more energy.2023: the year I get to buy a car1 -
Get the cat ones and the plain ones.
I got a new brushed cotton sheet from M & S at the beginning of the winter.

Very late to the party - Im not a fan of having people to stay even a night - let alone 6! I'm just antisocial, though - it's not a physical issue like your CF - much better for you to have them be elsewhere

Knowing which to choose is troubling!
A silly thing to help me - another step to normality, I've found how to get the app icon for whatsapp onto my phone (I've been going to the play store every time to open it!) and at the same time I got a Notes facility up on my phone too. I'd come to rely on that - making notes while I was out, or in bed, whatever, I found it *so* useful, and now I have it again
