no eating all four boxes at once
:rotfl:
I've done the hmrc declarations for the French stuff. Now I need to go through the interest earning accounts that aren't isas - mostly regular savers and easy access money. My net worth listings are going to come in handy - accounts mature and get closed, new ones get opened, but the relevant ones will be listed under the appropriate column, for once. It *should* be easy. It won't be, but it should be2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Fingers crossed for the 'easy bit'...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Fingers crossed here too... Mr Cheery also ended up with two HMRC accounts, also a right palaver every time he needs to log in...
Excellent bargains though! Our most bargainous buys seemed to all involve sprouts :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Thanks apple, thanks Cheery
I decided to just get the papers in the right date order and leave it at that, as its Friday etc etc etc ... I'm just reading a Stella Rimington thriller on my laptop-based kindle before I shut down for the night.
Good luck to Mr Cheery for the tax situation - keeping a copy of what I submitted the previous year has always been helpful, just as it was today.
The bargains were great! And the coconut yogurt (which was actually kefir) was gorgeous. I'll have some of the gluten free mince pies tomorrow

BTW, so much for getting into HMRC website being easy  I logged out once my return had arrived with them as I wanted to see which account I could find the money in to pay my NI [no tax to pay].
Tried to log back in the next day but no joy. Was using the same log in details and caps lock not on etc. Tried a few times but nothing. Got worried I'd be locked out so left it a day. It then did work and I managed to make the payment. Its tricky that site!!0 -
I really appreciate that feedback, teapot - its astonishing to think that this is the best update they could come up with
I need a domestic-type morning, cooking some peas and beans that have been soaking, I'll put the wm on, do some tidying, Sun holiday stuff, the boring stuff. I'll be popping out this afternoon, and I'm kind of spoiled for choice, all my errands take me in different directions2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
So, David, I'm trying my hardest here to respect Martin's wishes to be kind to newbies, but I'm not sure what you're doing. You joined last August, no posts until this morning, you've now made six one or two liners ... the post you've written here, on page 206 of my diary, starts with "Happy New Diary". Erm, what? And you've listed a website that I know nothing about. And you're wishing us a lovely evening at 11am in the morning. Care to chat a bit more and explain?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I suspect David has been, er, removed... Rather an odd post though as you say!
How is your domestic morning going? Hope it's not as windy there as here!0 -
