Happy New Year KC and everyone who reads your diary. We have just one visitor left (my Mum) after everyone else finally left yesterday. Got a lot of planning to do for 2020 with DH and he is currently sitting at dining room table with brochures for organised trips and holidays that we are using to plan our "definitely like to do this or that" list from.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the grow your own in 2026 discussion thread

Thats a good idea - I don't take enough responsibility in the planning of our trips abroad, actually, though I'm getting better at the UK stuff. Thing is, I've never gone on holiday *with* someone - I've always gone on my own, and met people there, off the cuff. My smpathies for its dominance! I never paid any attention until my first catsitting gig, when I watched the first few seasons on their tv subscriptions ... then I caught up in a hurryHope you are enjoying your binge watching, I may be the only person left who has never seen any episodes of Game of Thrones?
I had to turn it off this morning, though, (NO SPOILERS) lots of sad bits halfway through. There are always sad bits, of course :rotfl: but it was a bit intense for breakfast viewing
Instead - the kitchen table is clear, cleaned, and I'm waiting for it to dry before the tax papers are all over it. I *will* get it done pronto!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I have, but only by accident on a plane when I'd run out of other stuff to watch. Haven't a clue what was going on :cool:0 -
Game of Thrones is basically the Wars Of The Roses with added dragons

ETA: plus dead people running about. There was none of that either in medieval England
