And to you KC! :j Health, wealth and happiness indeed (and continued reward for your garden navvying efforts!)0
-
Thanks Cheery! I did 45 minutes in the garden this afternoon, actually, and only about half of it was navvying (sawing through an enormous branch of the laurel) and the rest was using the loppers on the brambles at the back of the big blackcurrant bush. I reckon thats the way of it for the rest of winter now, half navvying, half sort of normal gardening, woo hoo!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thank you Suze, and the same to you
the same to all :j
I haven't had enough sleep, grumble grumble, but apart from that everything is well in my world :rotfl: Oh, and the sky is that blank grey absence-of-colour, but thats all
I'm planning to wake up properly soon, then have lunch, then make my social arrangements for tomorrow, then, ta-da, the work of 2020 will get a few minutes look in :rotfl:: finishing off tidying the craftwork stash, and preparing for the financial work. Tax declaration comes first, though I need the new phone (for the OTP) before I can log on to hmrc. Always prep work to be done, though.
Hope everyone has a lovely day2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:hello: Thank you both, same to you
We've had fog pretending to be clouds, almost, this morning, as well as drizzle, but better nowand I've sort of been on two walks, one after the other :rotfl: A planned country walk with my sister, which was *so* muddy we didn't walk quickly enough for her, so we went to a local NT garden and belted around the lakes there :rotfl: Both places amazingly busy!
Shattered now, though, but I finally have my mitts on S8 of Game of Thrones; started yesterday, and I'm now about to start the second disc
Anyway, the patchwork/haberdashery stashes are all tidied away, to good result, I must sayplus I've found I can empty the contents of one of my plastic crates into the kitchen to use it for the extra photos coming my way: my sister has been storing the ones I spent ages scanning, and she'd like for them to be distributed amongst the three of us before they grow roots at her house
and I've found a way to use space more efficiently, so its all good.
Serious amount of Game of Thrones is due today, and I might go so far as to get my tax paperwork out of the tin where I've been hiding it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
*Waves* to KC and any other of the old lurkers about and wishing you all a Happy New Year.
Yes, 'tis I BOB ( on my third incarnation due to losing my account *sob*) doing my annual drop in to catch up. I will be about on here a bit more as I have been MSE'ing quietly in the background.
Positives-have applied at the last minute for the PPI claims via MSE's handy tool. Just before Christmas I had a massive shock when we received just under 10K back on them. Have yet to receive the money, but it will come in jolly handy.
I maybe starting up a diary on the mortgage free board, but quite keen to look at further investments to add to the ones I already have.
Healthwise-can say that this has plummeted a tad. So that is one of my main focuses for the next year. I am back walking for health and signed myself up to the 1000 mile challenge. No idea if I will complete it, but will give it a good go as gyms aren't really my cup of tea.
I am also studying again as it makes me happy.

Bob!!!
How wonderful to see you :j
Very sorry to hear your health isn't so great, but good grief, an almost £10k payout from the PPI action? Jeepers! Well, I'm really glad you decided to apply.
Do me a favour, if you do decide to start a diary, put the link on my page - I'm rubbish at going through the listingsI always use UserCP
