:T Well done on another voucher! :T - you are doing so well with SB - I'm always amazed how much you glean from them :D
Thanks! I spend too much time on it, though, which is why I'm pulling back. Even if I replaced it with other computer stuff, like cruise research, thats still a better use of my time. Or matched betting, of course :D
How is the new stick blender BTW?
It's nice and cosy in the cardbox box it arrived in, thank you very much :o I should open it, I know - I was desperate to get out into the garden. This morning, over a piece of ground I absolutely cleared earlier this year, I must have dug up half a dozen bramble roots - this is why I have a thing about doing all of it - if I don't, chaos just spreads from the bits that haven't bee done!

On the subject of rewards points, I'm due a small voucher from a mail survey! - easiest 5 pounds ever - less than a minute a day for two weeks telling them how much mail I've received (or not).
That sounds excellent! How did you get hold of that? Or maybe you can't write about that openly, they often have regs about that.
Am loving that I can now request an electronic voucher rather than have to wait for a paper one in the post! ...and of course the inevitable chasing up with it's gone 'missing'... I'm a big fan of instant vouncher transactions!:D Will get it in the form of an @m@z0n e-voucher.
Heavens yes! If they were paper, I doubt I'd use them. I often let a points voucher or even a money off voucher, go out of date from Waitrose or Sainsbo :o:o:o
Also discovered recently that I can use my uk account to order from any @m@z0n shop around the world - so was able to purchase directly from across the pond & send B-day pressies to mom & sis without having them held up by customs & the postal service! They were both thrilled as there was so much choice, that I was able to get them exactly what they wanted! - even had everything gift-wrapped for pittance which is not allowed when sending from here as customs invariably slits the wrapping open and leaves it in a state so no point in bothering!:D
Ooh! I didn't know you could use the same account to do that. That's very good :)

Here is the link to the MSE thread KC - If I remember correctly there is a link on there that takes you to sign up!

Even better - I can use my UK credit card or my across the pond credit card - and if using the UK one can choose pounds or across the pond currency! It's really quite sophisticated, I was well impressed - they even make you do a few extra security checks to prove it's you using your account elsewhere!

    :D

    ...as to the stick blender...
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
...once you do get it out of it's box...
...very handy for making 'no cream' cream of soups - just whizzing some steamed vegetables together with a splash of water or stock and heating it through makes for a tasty meal! (usually features as weekend lazy lunch in our house!)

    Thanks honey :):):)

I've been getting ready for my appointment, but also having a bit of a clean, inside and out - I've never had so many unwelcome "guests" as this year, not even the first year I moved in. I suspected some mortar has failed :( there's certainly a bit where I keep seeing them has gone - though I don't know how they get in from there, its cavity wall ... anyway, bit of spraying inside after cleaning, and lots of ant powder down outside. I really can't be doing with the adrenalin toxins. Mea culpa!

Afternoon all :) all done now. There was a lot going on - it took 90 minutes! I discovered that if I flexed my knees it stopped my lower back hurting and didn't disturb what the doc was doing. All fairly gruesome though :D
Anyway, cuppa tea, pasta etc, and I've retired to the armchair. No intention of doing anything except putting the kettle on again.

Well, the bits I'm not going to say are fairly dire :D but I'll feel better about wearing summer dresses next year, so that's a good thing. I'm okay, beanie, don't worry :kisses3: I'm going to start on the painkillers now, have an early meal, and get an early night.

I've been having fun online researching fig trees, fruit and leaves :) there's got to be some benefit to all this sitting down :rotfl: It started when I saw this recipe: https://www.davidlebovitz.com/fig-leaf-and-honey-ice-cream-recipe/
