In between the emails, I cleared a bit more of the patio, but mainly got everything ready for the charity collection tomorrow - a *lot* of dust was cleared, Ikea parcel put with the rest, things that I don't want to go are separated out, it's a lot, but really worthwhile. Can't believe how long both these things have taken!

Sounds like the blog will be fixable which is good news. Sounds like a busy day so hope you sleep well0

Glad the blog sounds like it'll be okay - what a pain though!
Hope the charity come as promised and you enjoy the newly spacious feeling once they've taken the stuff awayMortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hello peeps
yes, I'm slightly concerned about the charity van turning up, but I think they will - I've seen the shop, I know the charity, it should be fine. If they don't turn up this morning, I'll give them a bell, in the meantime I'm keeping an eye out
Didn't sleep hugely well last night, but good enough. I've messaged the computer guy who said he'd help about the next step on the website. I can't do anything much else right now, as I'm waiting for the charity, but clearing the front porch will helpso that's what I'll do. And check out the threads on here

Hope the van turns up, tricky when you don't have a definite time.0

I've phoned, I'm on the list, and I completely forgot that they said the driver would ring 30 minutes before he turned up. Mea culpa2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Boy oh boy ... still waiting. I just phoned, and they *said* the driver was leaving the shop in about ten minutes (to do another round, they meant, apparently). I'm horrified - I've waited in all day. If he comes, he'll be here about 6.30.
So anything that I can manage to carry on my own, they're not having. They can have the sofa, and the vertical CD rack (which is about six feet tall). Nobody treats me like this and gets to get everything they could have had. The charity concerned is DEBRA, which supports victims of a painful genetic skin condition called epidermolysis bullosa. Which is sad, but BHF is just as worthy, and thats where the rest of the stuff will go to now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
