Morning! My word, the garden took up nearly all my energy yesterday, and the only other thing I did was the backing up, and even that didn't quite get completed
so I'm abandoning yesterday's to-do list until Monday :rotfl: though I'll be publishing the blog this weekend.
Today, once the dishwasher's finished, I'm going to pootle out to the local touristy village on the bus (trains are all boogered up by engineering works, nothing is running without a long Replacement Bus journey, anathema if it's unnecessary). Loving the interactive map of my county, that lets me scheme and plot to my heart's desire2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hope you have a lovely pootle. The weather's good for it!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Hope you had a lovely pootle this morning KC! It was gloriously sunny & warm! Your kitchen and garden plotting & planning has been keeping me happily amused these past few weeks!:D
Having just returned yesterday from a whole month in parts "far away" I'm shocked (happily) that spring has sprung & there are flowers, buds and greenery in our garden! Went from 3" of snow & winter gear to warmth and spring growth in the course of a day!
It's nice to be back to a routine - am meal planning & doing up a grocery order as well as forward planning for the month ahead!
Being back home is bliss!:rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! Morning! Slept unbelievably well last night, hurray, and really don't want to do too much today, though there are some commitments. Mothering Sunday isn't a thing for me, and I have to leave my sister and brother in peace as they both have adult offspring/ some grandchildren
So:
- blog post, it's the last day of the month.
- cook chickpeas I put to soak yesterday.
- clean the mucky bit of the sofa I found t'other day.
- do the 2nd planting on the same lentil sprout soil, to continue the sprouting experiment.
- just a little while continuing to clear the soil on the paved area, just to carry it on and get out for a bit without actually working but still accomplishing2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ooooo - a good sleep makes all the difference! Happy 'pootling' Sunday to you!
Today for me will be tidying & unpacking & laundry, as well as forward planning for the week ahead! Back to the long commute tomorrow - was sooooooo spoiled last month with a 10 minute walk!:D4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Hi RT, hope its all gone well. And now you're back to that long commute - hope *that* goes well too, foul-ups during commute make a big difference to the day.
I've had a foul up of a different sort, just now. I'd rejigged the blog post, got it how I wanted it, and ... the conversation with my ISP in the middle of the month seems to have resulted in things going wildly wrongmy domain name goes to a spam website, and the log in link I was given goes to non-alphabetic gibberish
to say that I'm teed off would be an understatement. They say there's phone lines open till midnight, I don't have it in me to speak to them right now, but I'm so disappointed I won't be able to post
I can't even do it via wordpress, as I have been the last few times, whatever the guy at the ISP did, it's made it unavailable via wordpress. Worse things happen at sea.
And this post may not make it to the mse forum, the bars on my broadband connection have the yellow exclamation mark in front of them!
The work on the garden went so well, toothough I *still* haven't cleaned the sofa. That, the blog sorting, and the healthy walk I'm finally going back to, will take up most of Monday, I think.

Bummer re the blog, thats very disappointing. Hopefully it can be sorted quickly and smoothly tomorrow.0

Thanks teapot - unfortunately, they emailed me to say it's been taken over by a scammer "because it hasn't been kept up to date", and though they're analysing it, they're saying it needs a developer to work on it. I'm out soon to the walk, so much more research is needed2023: the year I get to buy a car0
