carbootcrazy wrote: »I hope you managed a better night's sleep,KC:)You know when people say ''it's too cold for snow''? I remember someone saying she was ''too tired to sleep''. Seems odd but it also kinda makes sense.I'm not around much on MSE at the moment, dratted RL getting in the way of what I enjoy doing:mad:, so I may have missed when you said you were off to do your cat sitting. I don't want to miss wishing you Bon Voyage:beer: and a really happy and relaxing time away from all that gardening. I may be being days premature though:rotfl:
I'm taking my own computer, so I'll still be hanging out on here
Your RL is so intense at the moment, I hope that surveyor can set you on the right path. Just going to pour myself a cuppa coffee and check out where you're at

safe travels, happy adventuring and lovely cat cuddles

:hello: Morning, thank you, you three
Cats were happy to see me within about two minutes :rotfl:I think they remember me, in all seriousness. Last time, it took the whole week before the most timid one would climb onto the bed while I was there, but she did it this morning, straight off
:j
I'm shattered with the journey, however, so the most I'm doing today is popping to the big Sainsbo locally and then discussing family visits with my sister. I have the patchwork quilt that my mum did, and my nephew inherited, on my knee at the moment, its nice to hand out like that
ETA - good news in the post, about those Santander shares I sold - they must have ex-div or something, so I got a cheque, for £142very happy with that.

Thank you both
my day went exactly as I'd planned - staggered off to the Sainsbo here - spent £6, but £5 was a Nectar voucher, so only £1 actual money, yay. Then my sister and I had a natter about plans for May.
And other than that, I've been giving Amazon and Netflix a bit of a pounding :rotfl: which is a lot of fun!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Morning beanie and all
yes thanks, the cats are fine. The less timid one came to me this morning - I spotted him sleeping on the hardwood floor beforehand! There's a *lot* of soft cushy space all over this flat, and he chose to sleep on the floor, not even on a mat. Weird ...
I feel a lot better this morning - maybe I should've used taxis on part of the journey here, since I had the suitcase and all, and its winter, even though its been so warm.
Doing SB, some of which involves letting videos cycle through on my phone - one was actually interesting - underwater view of a bear catching a fish! Small things
I have a Primark and a TKMaxx in easy walking distance here, so I'll pop over to see them, that's gentle enough, then into the Sainsbo on the way back. First, though, its the Time Of Emptying The Cat Litter2023: the year I get to buy a car0
