The bonfiring must be catching:rotfl:. I've just had a mega one myself . Lots of 'private' debt paperwork that I could safely consign to history:j. It was surprisingly cathartic watching it all go up in flames. I just hadn't the time/inclination to shred it all to recycle and no handy electric socket to do it from anyway. The wind was exactly right, well there was barely a breeze. It doesn't really matter too much about the wind direction (unless it's blowing directly towards our house:eek:) as, thankfully, we have no near neighbours to worry about upsetting.0

The sky is still splendiferously blue, I've had my digestif cuppa tea, time to wake up and get out there!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Woo hoo ... not only did I manage to do a little bonfire, I managed to get in touch with bruv, had a good chat. Bonfire was brill, it clears so much stuff from the garden, *and* will soon give me the benefit of the nutrition, for the soil. The green bin is useful, there's no denying, but it doesn't feel nearly as good as a bonfire! I love bonfires2023: the year I get to buy a car0
