    :kisses3: thank you all!

And oh dear to OHs fuming on my behalf :kisses3: it's me, I assure you: I was lurgified when I came back from Portsmouth, then when I recovered I lurgified myself all over again at the games afternoon and lost my voice again. And I just didn't focus on it when I *did* regain my voice :o

Pavers order has turned up :j so I'm off on a bit of a walk. The target will be a chemist who sells seasickness tablets :D since the online pharmacy at Sainsbo doesn't sell them :D

Maddie - absolutely, listen to your body and take it easy today. It's why I'm eager to get things finished a few days before the cruise, I don't want to overtire myself before I've even begun.

Absolutely the best way, I did this before my recent hols and it really helped a lot.

Just tidying, a couple of small loads of washing hung out, a bit of pampering (face mask) and then some lunch sat in the garden. An amazing gardern no more that 200 steps from me is open for charity this afternoon, it is totally inspiring and the owners are lovely, so hopefully a stroll along there will happen.

Hope the new shoes are great, I love shoes, but have arthritic ankles, but manage to find some fun ones from time to time:D:D

  • I hope the shoes are comfy, I prefer boots more than shoes but sometimes (especially summer) shoes are more practical.

I also hate talking to people on the phone, so does hubby and DD2 but weirdly DD1 will quite happily pick up the phone and deal with anybody. We don’t even have a phone at home and haven’t had for years now. It’s bliss!

Have a lovely holiday if I don’t pop in again before you go :)

I walked to the village rather than the town, and it was the village fete :j steel drum band, vintage cars, horse drawn beer dray, all the local schools, it was brill :):):) I'm going to join the village (not the tow :) ) horticultural society.

I bought a copper seasickness bracelet, no tabs yet.

Yep, my ankles are bad too - I haven't opened the shoes parcel yet, I'm not someone who loves shoes any more because of the whole I-can't-wear-the-shoes-I-like-cos-arthritis ...

I think nearly everyone in our family has phone horrors :p and I'm with you on boots/shoes.

Thanks for popping by EE, and for your good wishes :)
