Well done Indie. I won £200 several years ago and went to the Covent Garden shop and chose a satchel. I liked the soft leather but my brother in law advised that the soft leather would scratch easily. So bought a traditional sactched wine colour for £140. My sister was with me and liked a small blue bag. Later in the sale I was able to buy it for her with the rest of the gift card. They will be having sales soon.
I still love my satchel and never had such an expensive bag.

    Very muggy here this morning.

DD1 stayed here last night. Heard her up early for the journey into town. I would not want to be doing that every day,

Wednesday afternoon I saw a twitter message to send my details to Quorn re their Lawn Tennis Competition that had come three hours earlier. I had tried for tickets to Queens. Yesterday I heard that Queens tickets had all gone and they were offering me tickets for Nottingham. DH looked up and that would be a three hour train journey each way so I turned them down. Not to be this time.

Yesterday afternoon we took GS to park with new ball. He tried the football club at school but did not ike it. Turns out he preferes playing on grass rather than school playground. He loved the new kicker ball and sometimes if you kick it just right it goes like a bend it like Beckham kick. It is definitely too bouncy for our garden.

Hope everyone is managing ok with this heavy weather. Hugs for anyone needing one. Be lucky.

Morning, great picture leanfun.Sorry you didn't get the tickets you wanted, but maybe next time you will get the ones you want. Thanks for telling me about soft leather as i wouldn't have thought of that. I have had a quick look on the site and will take a longer look later. I got up in the middle of the night and it was thick fog here, still a little foggy and damp but not as thick so must be lifting now. I am off food shopping later as have a couple of days off now. Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    Good Morning,

Been busy here as getting everything up to date before our break up to Dundee and Aberdeen. Had to take car to get new tyres yesterday, hadn't bought any for a long time so got a shock at the price! Still the last ones did 30,000 miles which was good.
Have booked cinema for both nights at Dundee as still had Cineworld vouchers to spend. Going to see Book Club one night and Show Dogs the other. We are staying pretty near the cinema so good chance to spend them.

Well done on the win indie. I won a satchel from them few years ago. It was filled with sugar free sweets from Werthers Originals. DD claimed bag! Enjoy your days off.

Shame you didn't get the tickets leanfun. Love your pic link.

Glad you are feeling better rose.

    Good luck for June everyone.

I "may" be off to London on Friday for 5 days if lady needs me to pet sit, it's very close to the centre so we get to spend as much time as we want at the museums instead of rushing about. Fingers crossed.

Evening, hope you all had a good day. I came home from work to a lovely win £250 to spend with Cambridge Satchel Company. Great end to the month.Have to look who posted it and thank them.

:T Wow indie! Brilliant win. Have a wonderful spend at the
    Cambridge Satchel Co. :T :j

Lovely offering to run your neighbour into hosp for appt
leanfun. :A You've known each other for such a long time.
Have you noticed many changes over the past 45 years in
your area? Your neighbour sounds as if she's coping incredibly
well since the death of her husband, despite suffering from her
    own severe health issues.

sheils - sounds as if you had a brilliant time away! :T Strathclyde
Loch looks beautiful. Did you manage to visit Culzean Castle in
    the end? It looks magnificent.

Have a lovely and lucky day all. I'm just waiting in for a soil
delivery & once that's arrived I'll be spending some time out in
the garden doing this n' that! jardinage0.gif

Mustn't forget to do a bit of comping too! ecrire-ordi.gif

Glad you had a great time with the family Alfie.
Yes we got to Culzean Castle and it was beautiful to see it in blazing sunshine again. Had a lovely time. It was bank holiday Monday but we got there before the crowds and left early afternoon just as it was getting really busy. Queues of cars waiting to get in as we left.

Still gorgeous sunshine here rose but it is feeling close so I wouldn't be surprised if we got thunder later
