Morning peeps. Dull again this morning. Forecast is for sunshine so not too bothered. Sending out a wellcome to shiels from central Scotland. GK's arriving later as DIL is working today. They are all staying tonight for BBQ. Need to make coleslaw and potato salad. Have made bolognese for lunch so all kids have to do is decide what kind of pasta they want with it. Have garlic bread in freezer so very organised lol. Hope everyone is well and having a nice weekend.

Morning, you are organised rose..lol. Enjoy your BBQ. It's raining here but still very warm. They have said to expect thunder/lightning later but then it should clear. Glad i got all the washing done yesterday as was going to leave it till today.Not decided what i am doing today yet as son and GF are both working so have the day to myself.Have a good weekend whatever your doing.

Morning all,


Sun out here, did have some rain through the night, hopefully enough to satisfy the flowers as we don't have any more forecast.
DS1 just landed in Sydney a few minutes ago so that is always a relief.

Thanks rose ,will be heading to Auchterarder to drop DS3 off and then back down. Going to have a nice walk aroung the loch, walk into Hamilton etc I think. DD and her bf and his family are going to a wedding in your area today too. Looks like they will have lovely weather for it. Enjoy your BBQ

Have a lovely time with your family Alfie. My family are always working at bank holidays. I miss the old bank holidays when everyone got together.

Sheils pleased to hear your DS and GF arrived safely.

We spent day with DS. He wanted to go to Deal. It is an interesting small town with lots of very narrow streets with Victorian houses. So many houses are all diffent especially on sea front. Lots of people there as there was a Classic Car rally. Only thing is seafront is always very windy.

Hope everyone is ok. Big hugs for anyone needing one.

Evening all,
Took Ds3 back and had a lovely afternoon walking around Strathclyde Loch, was a little windy but fine. Found a way to get to the services from there and had a MacyDs and a McFlurry!


Is Deal where "Liar" was filmed leanfun? It looked nice and I said to DH I would like to see it. It is Bank Holiday weekend here and we had some delays on the way north although coming south again was fine.

Very sunny here this morning.

Sheils great you had a walk around Strathclyde Loch. Hope you enjoy next few days. Not seen Liar but looked it up and you are right it says most of it is filmed in Deal. DH hates paying for parking but you can park for free way along the front at Deal. So we walked back to the town and the through the little streets to avoid some of the wind.

Like you hope FF is ok.

DH not well so am getting limited time to get on pc comps & such,
sounds like you all are having a lovely b/holiday w/end :dance:
the weather is lovely here as well & got the fans on to keep cool,

Tried to go out to do something in the garden this afternoon but it was too hot. Still we have been able to eat out there.
