Just having a late night pop in to see how you all are! :wave: Hope you've all had a good win this month. I've literally given up on comping but my DD won a gymnastics high bar worth nearly £500 from a raffle

Well ..... my rain dance failed miserably! Thankfully it
feels a little cooler this morning, yesterday it was sooo

Morning, hi wingo what a great prize your DD won bet she was chuffed to bits. I have never watched Love Island but the girls at work are always talking about it. I had a good talk to my nephew yesterday and have decided to work just weekends so he can carry on his job without worrying about the kids with the summer holidays coming up and what he was going to do with them in the week. I shall start next week so my boss can get use to it but i don't think they will mind. I am driver today for son and GF, till 3 then the day is my own. It's very dull here at the moment but have the windows and door open as very muggy. Hope everyone has a good day.

Indie sorry to here about your car. Pleased it was just the battery even though they are expensive. Great you can pop into some air con if needs be at work.

Rose hope hospital went well.

Here DH taking car for service today. Someone was parked outside our garage but car is now gone. Our garage is at bottom of our garden on to Road. Chaos still with roads up. End of our road is the road with the buses and they have temporarily moved all the bus stops so will be hard for a lot of people as it is a lot further to walk.

I hope you're all ok on this wacky Wednesday!

[STRIKE]Wasted[/STRIKE] spent most of yesterday trying to sort my email
system out, only to find that the company in question (think
you can all guess who!!) were having problems, (not for the
first time either). Grrrrrrrr!

Well, to cut a long story short - surprise, surprise - their system
won't actually be up & running until after the weekend, to give
them time (blah, blah, blah) to look into it and hopefully get
it fixed!

So ...... no emails for me for a while! It's going to be a long
few days. I'm already starting to get withdrawal symptoms.
:rotfl::rotfl: I'm also seriously considering changing my email
provider now too.




It's going to be another sunny, hot & dry day here so I may
be tempted to do a rain dance out of desperation! :rotfl::rotfl:


Must fly, got loads to catch up on today after spending so much
time yesterday trying to sorting out the email probs!

It was so muggy here yesterday we just felt tired, tired. Thought we were going to have to beat the traffic to pick GS up from childminder yesterday but DD was able to get the train in time in the end.

Rose you are doing so well. Do hope you are on your feet soon with the aids. Well done you.

Email said I was a newsletter winner but I have not signed up for their newsletter. Still great to win a book now there are so few on Goodreads. I think posters have to pay to put books on there now.

:hello: Good morning everyone


Hope you're all ok - it's much cooler here today (thank
goodness) - had a fairly busy day yesterday - whizzing here,
there & everywhere. Also managed to fit a bit of gardening
in too - so all in all a very productive day.


Update on email probs:

Decided to sneak back in early yesterday morning &
try just one more time before they started their 'work' on
the troublesome site. I used the 'I've forgotten my password'
route and it worked a treat! :j Couldn't believe my luck! They
sent a code to my ancient Nokia which I then had to type
on the form, also had to answer some security questions
together with adding new password etc and .... hey presto -
my emails were up and running once more! :T :j



Sadly not so lucky with my iPad though which was probably
my fault (trying to fix the email problem myself). I had totally
confused the poor thing. Anyway, I purposely deleted my
email account then created another one (never done that
before either!). :j This tech stuff is so easy-peasy! :rotfl::rotfl:
