Morning peeps. Seems to be a bit milder here this morning so hopefully it stays that way. Snow forecast for next week so going to try and get everything done that I need to do over weekend and hibernate when it arrives. GD has now got a new guinea pig as no one has claimed it. Off to put porridge on as I am rather hungry this morning. Hope everyone is well. Take care and be lucky.

but thankfully still mild - just heard that next week 'may' be
considerably colder and a tad wet! Brrrrrr!

Afternoon peeps. Had GK's for a couple of hours so that DS could go to gym. Took them to cafe for lunch where they devoured cheese toasties and a knickerbocker glory. When Ds arrived back he was a bit miffed as he had missed out on the desert lol. FF glad you are having some time to yourself just relax and take it easy tomorrow is another day. Weather has turned a bit colder and wetter here this afternoon so I am going to tackle ironing instead of heading out.

Morning peeps. Cold and damp here this morning but no frost. Was raining most of yesterday evening expecting more today. Ironing all done (job I hate). Going to make myself some comfort food today (fish Pie) so will have to nip out to either lidl's or asda for a couple of things. Neighbour was baking yesterday and brought me down a couple of soda scones and potato scones so will have a soda scone and roasted cheese for lunch followed by a potato scone with butter yum yum. Well enough of my stomach. Hope everyone is healthy and well this morning.

Well, it looks as if it may be glorious weather today down my
way with sunny spells throughout the day. :j Tomorrow will
apparently be turning pear shaped with the arrival of wet
stuff!

I hope you're all well. I'm fine and dandy here rose and
raring to go.

I can remember when my Mum used to make potato/soda
scones - also treacle scones which were really scrumptious
with butter and a dollop of jam. :drool:

I hadn't realised that pebble painting had become so
popular in the UK. Must admit they all look amazing!



I think hunting for hidden painted pebbles is a brilliant
idea! :T

The little children on the Beeb news item this morning had
such a fun time finding the pebbles and the added bonus is
that they were out having a lovely time in the fresh air. :j :T

Sheils your wee trip sounds amazing ! Have a lovely time.
Alflie we have done this and have a large group near us who do it , but have only ever found one..i left a pile of crochet covered ones which where all taken..not so good at painting!
Rosemac oh yum potato scones..not had those for years..must hunt a recipie down to make them .

Firefly..I'm so sorry just tried to do some reading catch up, I hope you get some answers soon, we have been in a situation last year when my cousin was hit by a drunk driver, they never caught him..answers can be helpful and healing. I'm really sorry nothing I can add but huge hug and sending you my thoughts xx

All is very quiet here I have done NOTHING all day but comp and play facebook games and thats it because I did all the major housework yesterday ! We finally had my mum round for "christmas dinner" and had like a second christmas was lovely.
Had two nice wins £20 all in one gift card and a hamper of face/hair/nail masks.
