Evening everyone, hope you're all keeping warm ready for the snow expected!
Hope you're getting some answers fire**fly and getting some time for yourself xx :kisses3: Well done on the mask win :T
I saw your pics Sheils, looks lovely where you were. You find some good places
Welcome back VW, nice to see you again and good luck getting back into comping
Rose, I've not heard of soda scones! I do love my cheese scones though
That's lovely of you mummyto3 to help fire**fly out with mags :A
Alfie, I remember my kids painting pebbles a few years back at a farm fun day and they really enjoyed it. I'm sure one of them still has the ladybird pebble they painted
I've been reading about you all doing the sugar free Feb and I'm interested but I know I'll find it hard! Even if I just cut out a lot of the junk I'm eating first would be a big help! Hopefully I might get my beach body back!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Morning peeps. another chilly one here and loads of the white stuff outside. Been snowing overnight and is still doing so now. Need to go out later this afternoon so hopefully pavements will have been cleared by then unless snow is on for the day. Hopefully everyone is well this morning. Take care if you have to venture out and have snow. Good luck with comps.0

Good Morning,
No snow here yet but we are supposed to get some later although being near the coast we often don't or it doesn't lie anyway. We have a strong wind though - must get the livingroom window replaced!
Think we are organised for meal tonight. TBH DS3 will be doing most of it.
Good luck with the beach body wingo. I have given up and I don't even eat much sugar or junk!
Hope the snow isn't too bad for everyone and you have a lucky day.

Morning, no snow here just rain again. It is colder than yesterday and the dog has got under the fleece i keep down here..lol. All i can see is his nose. I picked son and GF up last night they had a good time at her parents but are glad to be back. It was colder up there than here. I have food shopping to do today so will pop out later. Hope you all have a good day.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all well. No snow down my way - we're in for a
mixed weather day of mild temperatures, sunshine & both
light and heavy showers.
Very similar to how the weather eventually turned out yesterday
(after the horrendous start!) but thankfully without the wind -
apparently we're due strong winds tomorrow night into Thursday!
Have serious worries about my garden gates surviving yet
another battering! Roll on Spring!
Have a wonderful family Xmas meal tonight sheils. Your trip
sounded brilliant - lol at the Gleneagles foreign staff and their
love/hate relationship with the snow! :rotfl::rotfl:
Aww - love your pic yesterday of the hedgehog fire**fly -
really cute! :grinheart Thinking of you as always. :A
I agree with you about getting out gardening while the
weather was half decent. Even though the sun's shining
away at the mo, the ground got fairly soggy yesterday and
I really don't fancy getting caught out in a sudden downpour
today!
Talk of the devil - it's now gone horribly dark with torrential
rain.
I had to go out yesterday morning for my B12 jab and
ended up looking like a drowned rat! A very pleasant nurse
was standing in for the usual girl I see, who unfortunately has
been struck down with the dreaded Aussie flu. Poor
thing ..... it sounds awful. _pale_
Lol at your doggy indie - they always find the best places
to sleep!
Alfie, I remember my kids painting pebbles a few years back at a farm fun day and they really enjoyed it. I'm sure one of them still has the ladybird pebble they painted

Love the idea of pebble painting wingo - especially hiding them
for kiddies to find - absolutely brilliant! :T:T
Re sugar-free Feb!:eek: We're calling ourselves "The
Sugar Shakers". :T
Our lovely Pyxis (over in the Betty thread) posted the
following chart to help us deal with cravingsTalking of cravings, I found this the other day..............
It may be a bit simplistic; however, there's no harm in keeping a stock of the 'alternatives' to pop in your mouth when desperation sets in, as apart from anything, it's a distraction for your mouth and brain!
We hear a lot about the need for vitamins, but we don't often hear about the trace minerals, but they are just as important.
So I'll be upping my intake of nuts, seeds, veggies and fruit!
Thankfully February is only 28 days long!
Pyxis is currently taking part in Dry January and is doing
incredibly well. :T She also writes a daily blog and includes
snippets of interesting info such as the food craving chart. :T
Have a lovely and lucky Tuesday all and please take care
whatever your plans.

Just popping in, no comp wins, but a cute dog Christmas tree ornament to review,
There are two more on the way as well, that one is a Maltese Terrier, I also have a French Bulldog and a German Shepherd Dog en-route. I would love a Springer Spaniel or Old English Sheepdog to reflect the breeds our family has owned, but these will do just fine.
Another parcel has just arrived, so had better unwrap and dispose of the cardboard.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Goodness what an afternoon. Got caught in heavy snow twice. Had to use walking stick and that didn't stop me sliding all over the place. Luckily I didn't fall yaaaaaaaay:j:) Snowing again now so I will suppose it is on for the night:mad: Love looking out at it. Hate being out in it.0

FF I have two fold up sticks which I keep in my handbags that I more or less use all the time if I am out shopping or out during the day. So always have one with me if needed. Hopefully you will be able to get things sorted out this week fingers crossed for you. It is stressfull enough organising a funeral without hold ups and complications. Thinking of you and your family take care.0

Morning all. another cold and white one. Pavements are a nightmare this morning so not going anywhere today. Expecting more snow later. Hope everyone is safe and well.0
