hiya thanks rose, thanks yes, feeling lots better after
shower & a nice hot curry & rice,
we've come to a nearly full stop here this end now as
everything is mostly sorted out but sadly still waiting
on coroners report for final details for funeral.
saw on tv the weather up your way is dreadful & good of
you to pick GK's up & look after them plus gran
& great gran & all :A
hope your sore throat & cough gets better ((hugs))
all the neighbours here have colds & coughs & my big sis is
full of cold luckily I've not got it yet but am feeling so tired after all the running about,

Hope the coroners report comes soon for you ff. Remember when my mum died it was 27th December and it was bad enough arranging things over Christmas and New Year without having to rely on coroner for anything. We ended up at Falkirk Crematorium because of holidays over that time and it took ten days to get that would have been longer if we had had to wait for local one or Glasgow.

to sort the tree out yesterday ready for recycling.

Morning all. Raining here too Alfie. Love first pic.

My sister went home late last night with antibiotics to recover. So great news.

DH cut tree up a bit and took it to the park where he said there were loads ready for recycling. Next year its back to the artificial one. Must remember not to go in for any tree competitions. He did say not many pine needles in car so all that watering paid off.

Morning, sorry to hear a few of you have colds, hope you all feel better soon. I have the day off so dropped son off at work and popped to local shops for some food shopping.It's been wet here today, wanted to get out garden but too wet now.I will just have to do some comping instead..lol

Afternoon peeps. Really cold today. Was snowing quite heavily last night when I went to bed but nothing this morning. Council are out gritting the pavements which are really bad with ice. Roads are clear but traffic is slow. So drivers being carefull for once. Throat is really sore today feel like I am swallowing razor blades if I eat or drink anything. So think it will be things like liquidized soup, scrambled egg ect that will go down easily. Have been gargling with salt and warm water which I hate as it makes me gag. Been over to pharmacy for more lozenges and a honey and lemon cough bottle. Pharmasist said what I am gargling with is a good idea but if throat feels any worse to phone surgery on Monday and get some advice from them. Hope everyone else who is down with colds etc is feeling a bit better and resting up. Take care everyone whatever you are doing.

Hi everyone,

I'm afraid I am not better and have decided I have definitely got flu.
Have had so many ailments you don't get with the cold.
It is a beautiful sunny day here and we don't have the energy to go outside. Not had the energy to comp either although I have been playing Candy Crush sometimes!
Not able to eat much either and my throat feels like yours rose .
Hoping all those who are feeling bad get well soon.

SHEILS BIG HUGS. It keeps coming up in Caps so leaving it as I do mean big hugs. Its horrible when you feel so ill. Does sound like the flue. Just take things easy and don’t push yourself to do anything.

sounds a lot of hard work having to get tree recycled/cut
up understandably more sensible to having artificial
ones each year I think.
