Hope DD has a safe journey shiels. Will probably take her longer than usual because of weather. I am getting annoyed with the weather as TV signal and internet keep cutting out.

Morning everyone. Could not believe my eyes this morning when I had a look out of kitchen window, Snow has nearly gone but it is still cold. So can head out to shop later for a newspaper without the worry of falling. Hope everyone else who has had snow is finding it the same. Enjoying my first cuppa of the day and catching up on the news as I kept getting interference on tv picture last night untill about 11pm. Broadband was cutting out at times as well. Anyway hope everyone is fighting fit this morning. Throat and chest are still dicky but hopefully will clear up soon. Take care and be lucky.

Morning, it rained all day yesterday with no let up. Glad i was at work. It was raining earlier here but stopped now. I heard the birds singing earlier when i let the dog out and had to smile. Spring is on the way. First time this year i have heard them. Weather forecast is for double figures this week so fingers crossed it's the last of the bad weather. I am off to work soon, hope everyone who has been unwell feels better today.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Think we're in for a pretty decent weather day here today -
quite mild, sunny spells and noooooooo rain! :j :T

Although having read the forecast - just opened the
curtains and it's absolutely pouring! pluie07.gif

Bet you couldn't believe it re the disappearing snow this
morning rose - particularly considering how bad it's been up
with you! So pleased that you're feeling a little perkier today
    - hopefully throat/chest infection will ease. I'd love to know
what was in the toddy you had the other night - no wonder
the recipe remains a guarded secret! :D

Hope you're feeling a little better today sheils and that
your DD had a safe journey yesterday.

Have a lovely, lucky and safe day all, please take care
    whatever your plans.

Alfie had another toddy last night as well lol. Still got some of it left. We would all love to know what is in it. I can't even guess by the taste. It does not half make you sweat though.

    Morning all,

Feeling little bit better today - just eaten some Alpen with milk.
Managed to get a bit more sleep last night as had spells when I wasn't coughing! On the plus side I have lost quite a lot of weight ;):D
Hope everyone else is doing well.

DD got back safely thanks although she said it was a bad journey but the driver drove really carefully. It took them about an hour longer than usual!

Just had a plumber up to sort a leaking valve on a radiator. Have had to get a new plumber as the one we always used has had to have his leg amputated below the knee :( Don't like having to change workmen, you get used to the same ones. Anyway, do half know this one and he seems to work at double the speed of the old plumber! At least won't need to worry about leaks when we go away on Wednesday. He is also coming back to service the boiler in a couple of weeks which should have been done ages ago.
Looking forward to some milder weather, although our town has really been ok. Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

It's a wet start to the day here pluie07.gif but also lovely
    and mild.

Must say - the birdies are loving the rain, particularly the
worm/grub lovers! :D They're very noisy at the mo - love
hearing them chirping away though. :p

Thoroughly looking forward to the Big Garden Birdwatch. :j
Can't believe it's come round so quickly! Will be baking my
birdwatch bites in readiness! Just as well it's this
weekend and not the next when I'll be doing sugar-free
    Feb! :p

Hope today sees you both feeling a little better rose &
sheils. xx Pleased to hear that you managed to get your
leaking radiator fixed sheils though sorry to hear about your
    previous plumber. :(

Have a lovely, lucky and safe day all, please take care
    whatever your plans.

Morning, it's raining again here. They have said it will dry up later so fingers crossed. I am looking around to buy a new washing machine today as son broke the door off mine...he got the basket caught on the lock and yanked it up to release it and the door came with it. It is an old machine and i was given it 7-8 years ago so it did the job.On a happier note i had 2 wins yesterday. A squeaky elephant (small advent win) and a win from woman and home mag the entire Costa Book Awards shortlist! so that was nice to come home to.Must go and thank posters.
Hope you all have a lucky day.
