FireFly great to come in from the cold to find a win. Your niece will be pleased. Well done.

Alfie mystery solved. Your pic of the lady with coffee did not come up earlier just a little dot. I wondered why Firefly said well done Alfie. Lo now I have a great pic. DH brings coffee every morning so no case for divorce here.

Well I have the biggest smile on my face. Ive had another Twitter win of a family ticket for Disney on Ice in Glasgow for the GKs in Scotland. I was not sure if they would let my ex DIL have the tickets but it did not say anything about being non transferable. Just heard theres no problem and they are going to email Dil with all the details. They also will ride in a Mermaid ship on the ice during the show. They are going to be so excited. When I contacted DIL she said GD had seen an advert for the show and had asked to go but the tickets are about £30 each. Family ticket over £100.

Dil said they had a great time at the Japanese Children film yesterday.

Rose enjoyed your ham sounds great. I do not ever remember cooking a ham for soup. Friend from Newcastle area made a brilliant one.

Afternoon peeps. Ds is bringing me home some fish which has been gutted but I need to skin. So cooking fish pies tonight. He is nipping in to supermarket to get me more potatoes and some herbs that I need. Will get milk from shop across the road. Fish has not came from Faslane but fished at sea lol so not radioactive like his sub. Peeps seem to think it is the sea that is radioactive around them but it is not. It is how the sub is powered that is radio active. Still dangerous but not to the submariners on it. They trust it. Sub did not catch fish either lol. Have made mince and dumplings so Ds is going to have dinner with me and we will have a good blether (talk about everything) as we say. Hope everone is well.

Thanks Firefly. They have sent all the details through to DIL. Its for the 16th March. GD will be an excited six year old and GS nine will be cool but throughly enjoy it.

Rose can we come to tea too. love fish pie you will be busy. I bet yours is delicious. I am sure they are very careful about the radiation.

lol leanfun have a good time . My fish pie is actually quite good even if I say so myself. Ds gets annoyed at the waste so I do not waste things myself. On a sub they have very few fresh things they can eat. He loses about two stones every time he goes on deployment. At 12 and a 1/2 stone that is a lot. 3 months out without fresh food.
    Sometimes a bit longer.

leanfun 3and1/2 months is not long for the navy. When he was on surface ships as in ships that float on the water he could be away for a long time as they called in to different ports world wide. As a submariner it is a bit more secretive and shorter. Hate the fact they never see daylight for a long time. Vitamin D is a problem for them.
