Goodness think I am going a bit doo-lally lol. Went out and got on bus to Asda then remembered I have sons car. (he went to work in hers and left me keys to his) Got taxi back with shopping. DS and other gran phoned so between us have the weekend sorted out. DIL's temp has gone up so her mother who luckily is a nurse is watching her. DIL's mum phoned the lab she works in and they were not very sympathetic that she was ill . Apart from the fact she was ill she could have affected lab samples she dealt with (food). if she was able enough to go to work. I remember when I was working when I knackered my leg I was phoned two days after I came out of hospital and asked when I thought I could get back? Had an op and a load of metal work in my leg and knee. I really get angry at employers who do not understand what is going on with their employees but a bit of understanding goes a long way. Ok have vented (and calm). Any wins in the inn today? (off to check e/mails to see if I have any) unlikely but hope reigns lol.

Sorry to hear that your DIL is so poorly rose. It sounds as if you,
your DS and GKs other gran have got everything under control (as
much as possible). Thank goodness DILs mum is a nurse too and
can watch over her. You are all angels. xxx :A


I would be forgetful too in your position - it's completely
understandable with so much on your mind.

Thoroughly dislike unsympathetic employers - experienced a few
of those over the years!

Rose Sorry to hear about your DIL. Lo at you forgetting your sons car. Like Alfie I would do the same. Its so frustrating when employers are so unsympathetic. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Brrrrrr! Me thinks the 'Beast from the East' paid a visit during
the night! It's fairly cold here with a chilly wind and set to get
worse after the weekend.


The upside is that thankfully the sun will be shining
throughout - doubt it'll have much warmth but still cheery to
see.


Excellent 'washing drying' weather though!

Morning, hope your DIL is soon feeling better rose. I can relate to the car. I live round the corner from a garage and went to fill up one afternoon then walked home. Wasn't till i got home i remembered the car..lol.Good job the workers in the garage knew me.Good to hear your appitite is returning ff, and well done on the win. Lovely surprise for you. I came home to a small FB win last night. 10 postcards with pictures of spring flowers on.I was surprised as don't win many FB ones. Anyway i have the weekend off and must get out in the garden as won't want to go out the house next week if it gets as cold as they say it will be. Hope you all have a good day.

Lovely sunny day here again although we did have a touch of frost first thing.
Was laughing at peeps leaving cars etc and then what did I do this lunch time, I put milk in DH's tea. He has never had milk in his tea since years before I met him! Must be catching....
