Great you enjoyed Glasgow Sheils. Love the roses.

Alfie weather has been very strange here too. raining hard when we went out last night but then dry on return. I think I was only one with umbrella.

We had another good evening last night after minor hiccup. I left printouts for tickets and restaurant voucher at home. Only discovered when we had just sat down in restaurant. I must say I panicked. As we left restaurant manager asked was everything ok. She said come back and we could have the deal. All was fine with theatre tickets and we had the meal on offer. Be glad when this forgetfulness has passed. Know what you mean about names FireFly Im the same.

Play was called Hannah. Another one woman story telling play. It was well written and acted about two babies being swapped soon after birth in hospital. Another pleasant evening out.

DD1 said our DS must be allergic to Scotland as he has another bad cold. suspect he caught it on planes on Saturday as he didn!t go out on Sunday. He couldn!t stop sneezing yesterday.

Rose that site used to have a shop at the Factory Outlet in Dover but it closed and the staff told me about that site. Occasionally I managed to find some good bargains.

Take care all. Hurry up spring. Be lucky.

    Good Morning all,

Sun shining away here but has been quite cold through the night I think. Got all our washing on and hopefully get it all dry.

Sorry had to laugh at you forgetting all your vouchers leanfun.
DH always asks me at least twice if I have ours. He never knows if we have any or not but asks anyway as we usually do!
Forgot to say I used the Zizzi points to get a bottle of Prosecco . Had to buy 2 main meals but obviously doing that anyway. It would have cost £23.75 so I reckon that was the best deal to take.

Welcome back sheils! Sounds as if you both had a brilliant
break in Glasgow! Crikes - I can't keep up with you these days -
I'd best say have a lovely time in Lancaster/The Lakes next week
now, in case I forget nearer the time! :p

Haha, thanks Alfie. Yes these two breaks are really close together but got to go when I get the bargains! We aren't going away in March as I have my birthday and Mothers Day and DS3 is coming in middle of month for yet another holiday. Might manage couple nights away at end of month if his holidays don't get extended. Gleneagles operate an over hours system and as DS3 works so many extra hours every week he gets extra holidays and gets the rest paid to him at end April.

Must get some comps done. Can't believe February is going in so quickly.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Morning peeps. Another dull one here. Having a lazy day as I am feeling a bit off colour this morning. Feeling sick but not being sick. Had a run round with hoover and a duster earlier. Going to make a cuppa and watch This Morning. Be lucky folks and take care whatever you are doing today.
  • Hi all, rather new here if I'm quite honest, and I'm not sure where to begin.

    A) Is the text comp worth it? I just saw a post where this guy won a Xbox and PS4.
    B) Didn't know there was a Costa Win Book comp.

I like entering into comps, giveaways where there's free entires, especially if it has something to do with NOVELS or Gaming stuff.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Evening peeps. Was eventually sick after lunch but so far dinner has stayed down. Do not feel ill at all. So don't know what is going on. . DS came in and went off with stovies he asked me to make for him and GKs. Not made them in ages. DIL is not a lover of them but eats them if she is in the mood lol. Weather here today has not been great but managed to get a load of towels and whites out and nearly dry. Stuck them in dryer for ten minutes and they were done. Hope everyone has had a good day.
