Afternoon all,
Lovely sunny day so got last of my washing done and it is nearly dry already. Not been our walk yet as DH went to pick DD up from nearby village as her lift didn't want to divert here to drop her off from Uni. Saved her taking her bfs car.
Will head out after lunch.
No sign of many wins for us then. We will need to try harder!

Hey everyone  Hope you are all well
just been having a quick read back.
Interesting posts Alfie about the hedgehogs, I was only saying the other day I haven't seen one this year which is a shame, lovely creatures. I had to chuckle about the knock knock pic! We used to call it knocky knocky hide-o ....knock on the door and run!Kids nowadays don't know what fun is!
Well done on the salt spray win Rose :T Hope the arthritis gets better soon xx
Sheils, Devon sounds wonderfulIt's on my list of places to go (or win!
) Hope things get better with your dad and I'm sure he will enjoy Blackpool.
I love your new sig fire**fly, lovely quoteHope you're well xx
Enjoy your days off indie! I've had a week off and had lots of appointments to attend so nothing done in the house!
Leanfun, that's wonderful your GK's came from America and that made me laugh your GD learning 'aye' already! We say it often round here too! Our accent is very 'lazy' how we pronounce words... I often wish I was posh!
Sheils, if you do go to pics, I don't know what fifty shades is like but I can recommend The Greatest Showman!
We were letting some balloons go on Valentine's Day for dad's memorial and one by one they were popping which was really bizarre! Then the marker pens that we used from dad's shed started leaking one by one all over floor, clothes and it ended up over our faces for some reason! We guessed it must have been out dad having a laugh smiling down on us as he was a real joker!
The kids think I'm sad cos I'm sat here with TOTP's 2 on tv as there's nothing else on to watch!I've been watching requiem but not sure if it's finished or not as the ending was daft!
Hope you all have a lucky monthMe, I'm just waiting for payday! :rotfl: I've had a trip to pay for as DD1 is going to Venice with the college. She somehow thinks she's going to Venus though!
She was a bit reluctant to go but hopefully it will do her good
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
:hello: Good morning all
Hope you're all well on what is going to be another glorious
weather day here.
I spent quite a bit of time gardening yesterday (mainly sorting
out the bamboo plants which seem to love all types of weather
and carry on growing regardless).
I can finally get round/through them again now and the plus
side is that I was able to happily get stuck in before the spiders
start setting up their homes again this year!
Two special days worth mentioning today ....
World Pangolin Day
The SEVENTH annual World Pangolin Day will be celebrated
on 17 February 2018!
World Pangolin Day is an opportunity for pangolin enthusiasts to
join together in raising awareness about these unique mammals —
and their plight. Pangolin numbers are rapidly declining in Asia and
Africa.
The demand for pangolins comes mostly from China, where
pangolin scales are unfortunately believed to be a cure-all of sorts
and pangolin flesh is considered a delicacy.
In Vietnam, pangolins are frequently offered at restaurants
catering to wealthy patrons who want to eat rare and endangered
wildlife.
There is no evidence to support claims regarding medicinal
properties of pangolin scales or any other part of the pangolin.

Feel so sorry for the little endangered Pangolins, such
beautiful creatures.
On a brighter note it's also ....
Random Acts of Kindness Day :j
 Hi wingo! Lovely to 'see' you.We had all been thinking
of your Dad this week. :A I had to chuckle about the funny
mishaps on his memorial day!I'm certain that it's a sure sign
that he's still watching over you all.
Hope your DD1 has a brilliant time in Venice. My son spent a
long weekend there just before Xmas - he loves it - wonderful
history and so many interesting places to visit.
Well must get on .... have a lovely and lucky Saturday all -
please take care whatever your plans.

Going to see "Fifty Shades Freed" wingo
Don't think I have seen Pangolins Alfie. Thought they would have been in some of the zoos we have visited.

All very quiet here today. DS took Gks back to their mother in
Glasgow yesterday. I went to the airport with them and had to hold back the tears. Their mother was late meeting them due to roadwork traffic holdups on motorway. DS was bemoaning the fact that there is no station at that airport. Here DH drives us to a station where we can catch train straight to Gatwick.
Thanks all for the pics enjoyed looking back the last few days.
Wingo great to hear your news. Lo at the tricks on your Dads anniversary.
I felt really chuffed to read your DD1 is going to Venice. How she has come on. Do hope she has a great time.
Shells enjoy Glasgow. Hope weather is fine for you and you enjoy the film.
Reminds me we have been lucky again with ShowFilm First we are going to a play on Tuesday. I was so tired yesterday afternoon I deleted lots of emails and fortunately didn!!!8217;t delete trash. Then had a snooze and suddenly thought I had not printed tickets. Fortunately found them in trash.
Well lots of comps to catch up on. Yes, Shells keep hoping to hear of some wins in the Inn.
keep warm and Goodluck everyone.0
