Morning, our weather has cooled down a lot now and we had rain yesterday. DS's and his GF Dr's appointments went well and my nephews were good as gold. Never knew i had them. I was at work yesterday so have a few days to relax now as not working till thursday.
Will be thinking of you Sheils and as Alfie said stay strong.
I have a big food shop to do today and washing is building up again.

Just a swift visit today, family are coming down Wednesday
& I’ve got a zillion things to do before they arrive.

Still dry as a bone down my way indie, promised rain didn’t
happen. Still warm too. Local weather forecast now predicting
storms Tuesday, got everything crossed. Really desperate for
rain now.

Oh, interesting article re Fortnite game. I hadn’t realised
just how popular it is worldwide!

Morning, yes i saw that on the news. His mum made me smile as just like many others she tried to stop him playing the game by various means but it didn't work.
We had a little rain yesterday then it warmed up again and the sun came out.I did my big food shop, had a list and still forgot a couple of things,lol.Never mind i will get them in the week.We took Charlies cone off yesterday as his foot has healed up so he is a happy chappie now.

Phew, it’s another scorcher here, from early this morning.
I’m still hoping for thunderstorms tomorrow, would love a decent
rainfall.



Lol at the Fortnite game indie! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl: Bet Charlie’s a
happy boy now he’s cone free - so pleased his paw has healed up
nicely.

I’m off to do a big shop tomorrow morning ready for Wednesday
when family arrive. After going out and about for remainder of
week, daughter, son-in-law & granddaughters are off holidaying
abroad for a week, leaving Alfie in charge of their two dogs
& puddy cat. I can guarantee they’ll be spoilt rotten. :grinheart

Afternoon
Been busy here,it's windy again so hoping fences stay up. I had a great win from Life and death magazine A Right Royale Summer in London two tickets to a fantastic new London show and a night’s stay at a luxury hotel worth £500. DS and his GF will go if we can sort a weekend out as it's only on in August.

Hi everyone,


Had as nice a time as we could while away. Went to Bodnant Gardens, Llandudno and New Brighton and had nice weather to visit them. Spent a bit of time with SIL who is looking very thin and frail. They haven't managed to start her chemo yet as she has had breathing problems. Really worried about her TBH.


Indie that is a lovely prize and hope your son and gf can go. I never enter the London comps as it would cost so much to get there.

My DS1 is coming over from Sydney on the 11th so that will be nice.
Must get on as couple busy days coming up.

Morning, glad you had a good time sheils, sorry to hear your SIL is not good. Hopefully they can start her treatment soon. I am off to work soon just wanted to wish everyone a lucky start to the new month.

Morning, it's very quiet in here at the moment. I have been at work for the last 3 days, won't be doing 3 days together again. I was so stiff last night i had to double my meds as was walking like a tin solider where my legs stiffened up,lol. Suns out here today as looks like it will be a nice day. I have done 1 load of washing got a few more loads to do.Hope your all having a good weekend.

I have all the washing up to date but not all ironed yet. The weather has been nice but think we are due some rain.


We have had an upsetting time here as SIL passed away the day after her first chemo session. It is even more difficult when DH's family is spread out over Wales and us up here in Scotland . DH is coping not too badly but totally shocked that his "little sis" died before him. Will be at least 2 wks until the funeral I think.

Not managed to do any comps really but maybe try some later.
