Hi Firefly sounds as though you had a good day. I too did a tiny bit of weeding this afternoon. By the time I persuaded DH to go out in the garden he complained it was chilly.
Thanks DD2 seems better thankfully and GS is not too bad. She sent photos of him playing with some Lego and you could see a few spots on his face.
Agree with you Alfie is lucky to be able to walk in the New Forest. Alfie hope your DS and GF have a great holiday.
The big spring clean has started slowly here. I had a go at the bathroom and found some Astonish Bathroom Cleaner in the cupboard. One spray on the shower glass and no elbow glass and they are like new. Astonishing.
Hope everyone has had a good day.0 -
hiya leanfun great you got out in garden :A
it's turned chilly here again since this afternoon
even though sun was out maybe your DH is a bit like me
& feels the cold neighbours were saying it was
warm out
but I didn't think so!
glad DD2 is better & GS isn't to bad x
well done on starting the spring cleaning,
i love the Astonish cleaning products
won some a while back & still using them they are amazing

Morning, well done on the book win ff. Looks like we are going to have another nice day here. It's chilly at the moment but the sun is out and it should warm up a little later.I had a surprise in the post yesterday,a roll of Ora kitchen roll, lol. There was a note with it, thanking me for taking the survey and i do remember doing it. Got the Dr's today with my son. Hoping after 6 months of tests and bloods they can tell us what is wrong. He saw his physio yesterday and she is refering him to the rhumatoid dept at the hospital to see if they can tell what it is as they do more tests than her.So hoping the Dr can come up with something. He had to book a double appointment so she can go over everything with him. Off to put some washing on.Hope you all have a lucky day.0

:hello: Good morning
Hope you're all ok. We had another beautiful day
here yesterday,& I enjoyed another full day of
gardening.
I agree though fire**fly re the temperatures. It
did feel rather 'bracing' during my early morning
walk, despite the sunshine! And by yesterday
evening, it started to feel chilly again. Brrrrr!
I always remember an old saying .... 'ne'er cast a
clout till May be out'. So true! :T
It's another glorious start to the day here, the
sun's shining away, but I'll still have my coat to
hand for a few weeks yet!
Guess what ... I can hear the garden calling again!
That's my day sorted!had a wem today for a book from caboodle :j
thanks to midnighter :T

Another lovely book win fire**fly, very well done! :j :T
You're putting me to shame leanfun re starting your
Spring cleaning! Well done though! :T I'll have to
invest in 'Astonish' - must admit, it sounds excellent!
Do hope the Dr can help with answers re your son's
health indie. Having all those tests over the last 6
months must have been such a worry. Will be thinking
of you both. xx On a different note .... well done on
your Ora kitchen roll win!:T
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care,
whatever your plans.

Indie hope your DS has some answers at the doctor’s today. It’s very frustrating when you sit there and they say everything is normal when it’s not. We have been there with our son. Well done on your Ora delivery not tried that yet.
Ho Alfie I need to keep going with the spring clean it’s very stop and start.
DD2 and family might not be able to come in Easter holidays if GD gets chickenpox then but SIL is coming from America in May.
Enjoy your gardening.
Sunny here today. I might do some gardening too. Went out there on Monday and it was really warm.
Have a good day all.0 -

Crikey! In all my excitement re carrying on with gardening, I'd
totally forgotten that I also had an appointment for 6-monthly
dental check up this morning! Just made it in the nick of
time. Thankfully toothy pegs are all ok! :T
It's lovely & warm here now - so will be out gardening this
afternoon.
Have a lovely Tuesday all.

:hello: Good morning all
Hope you're all in fine fettle on this glorious start to the
day.
I'm off out early again this morning for a quick trot around
the forest, followed by mega catch up with comps
plus pottering about in the garden later on
today.

Nature not only provides us with all the things we need to live -
from the air we breathe to the water we drink, and from the
shelter we need to the economy we rely on - but also makes our
lives better. However, its growing loss puts this all under threat.

Another interesting article from Historic UK ...
26th March, 1934...the introduction of the UK Driving Test, part
of the 1934 Road Traffic Act. By this Act, all people who had
started to drive on or after 1st April 1934 needed to pass the
test. Testing was however suspended during World War Two and
again for a short period during the Suez Crisis.
The test took half an hour, consisted of basic driving skills and
knowledge of the Highway Code (introduced in 1931) and cost
7s 6d.
The first person to pass the new driving test was a Mr Beene.
Why do the British drive on the left?
by Ellen Castelow
Have you ever wondered why the British drive on the left?
There is an historical reason for this; it’s all to do with keeping
your sword hand free!
In the Middle Ages you never knew who you were going to meet
when travelling. Most people are right-handed, so if a stranger
passed by on the right of you, your right hand would be free to use
your sword if required. (Similarly, medieval castle staircases spiral
in a clockwise direction going upwards, so the defending soldiers
would be able to stab down around the twist but those attacking
(going up the stairs) would not).... [Cont'd] >>>

Have a brilliant Wednesday all, take care.

Morning, suns out here again but it's cold at the moment.Glad the dentists went ok Alfie. My son has to do 3 more tests before the Dr sends him to a specialist as she can't decide which one to send him to at the moment. It could be rhumatoid or gastro as he has had IBS for over 3 years but it's not been officialy diagnosed and that can also cause all different problems. His last blood test went missing so he has to do that again. But at least we are getting somewhere.
I am gardening today, got to make the most of this weather and back to work tomorrow. Hope you all have a lucky day.0 -
good evening all

:hello: Good morning all
It's another beautiful day here, but still fairly
chilly early morning. Thoroughly enjoyed my walk today,
said hi to the ponies & cattle.
Also drove to supermarket & stocked up on quite a few
provisions, so that's me sorted for the next week. I certainly
won't starve, that's for sure!
leanfun, I actually made a decent start on my Spring cleaning
yesterday! Half the kitchen's now sparkling, will carry
on with the other half later on today!
I really love your cute little pop up kitty image fire**fly. :grinheart
You most welcome re my links & I'm so pleased your DH
loves to listen to them. I do love posting them, particularly
the slightly quirky ones! :rotfl:
Do hope Drs can help diagnose & treat your son's ongoing
health problems asap indie, got everything crossed for you
both. xx
Have a lovely & lucky day all, take care.
