Morning,


Sunny morning here but still getting odd shower and a bit of wind. Nearly half way through March anyway so hopefully be better soon.
I have got Dhs cold now so we are both sniffling about. Not too bad but nose won't stop running!


Not sure about your fish Scotch egg rose. Never heard of that. My favourite is scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast. Made me really fancy that now.


Has puddy forgiven you yet Alfie? Hope you have had a nice walk.

Morning. It’s still windy here. Thought it had calmed down but set up again.

Sorry to hear you have the cold too Sheils. Do hope it’s just headcold.
GS did enjoy his birthday and had lots of presents. He’s started guitar lessons only two but already sounded good on guitar. So pleased we found the 3/4 one. He’s up to my shoulder now.
Agree with you about smoked salmon and scrambled egg yummy.

We have piano tuner coming later today so need to do a quick dust.

The weather's fairly decent here this morning, I was up with
the lark & out walking early. We've had a little light rain & now
it's just breezy so not too bad - mind you, it could well change
in the next hour or so - you never can tell these days!


In fact, the wind's starting to pick up again now!


So pleased your GS had a lovely birthday leanfun - the guitar
was a brilliant choice of pressie for him & a decent price too! :T


I agree rose, the scotch egg sounded yucky. I've never heard of
one that consists of a soft egg covered in smoked fish!

I'm pretty sure Puddy's forgiven me - woke up through the
night to find her curled up by my side, sending up happy
zzzzz's. :grinheart


What she doesn't realize though is that she's also due her
booster & annual health check at the vets this month, (most
def not her favourite place). :eek:

Morning, very dark and breezy here at the moment. According to forecast on tv it's going to be dribbley,lol today.Hope your cold is not too heavy sheils, I hate it when i have a runny nose as it always ends up sore.Got to do a fridge shop today but nothing else planned. Morning. It’s still very windy here this morning but not raining yet. Wind very noisy. Be glad when this is over.
DH looked out of bedroom window this morning and said bush is yellow. It’s been yellow for a week at least. That’s the forsythia again. That’s the extent of his comments or gardening.

We told piano tuner about guitar for GS and was saying how they are all made in China but you can improve the sound no end by changing the strings. In fact the one I bought sounded quite good to me but I’m not musical.

Pleased to say DS sounds better in the phone. He has stopped coughing. Sheils hope you and DH are better soon.

The weather's dry here at the moment but apparently we're due
rain later on today. We also have a yellow warning in place
for tomorrow - gale force winds again. :eek: Will have to batten
down the hatches and make sure the dustbin's secure! Loved

Afternoon,


DH and I aren't too bad , thanks all. Just head colds as usual, luckily neither of us get chesty ones. I'm still sniffling a bit.
My Weird Fish Voucher came and I now have a new long sleeved T-shirt which is a nice weight.
Been windy here with showers now and again but tomorrow looks like it will be really wet. Forecast from Sunday looks ok though. We will be back on dog walking duties next week so weather important!

Had another challenging forest walk early this morning. Blustery/
driving rain. Wasn't even worth taking the brolly because I would
have ended up doing a Mary Poppins! :rotfl::rotfl:


Thoroughly enjoyed it though, plenty of dog walkers out & about,
such a cheery bunch of people. Quite often stop for a natter.


Must admit sheils, I've never heard of Weird Fish so had a
look at the site - love it so I've signed up for emails! Plus I've
been entered into their monthly draw to win £250 :j but with
my track record, I shan't be holding my breath! :rotfl:

Morning, same here Alfie. Blustery and wet. Roll on next week when they have said the weather will be better, and the winds gone. I have the day to myself again as son and his GF working all day.Going to catch up with comps then have a nice long bath. Hope you all have a lucky day

been trying out the new omelette maker I got a few
weeks ago & must be saying it's
the best thing I've purchased for ages :j :j
for the price & ease of doing omelettes & they always turn
out light & fluffy :j
don't think i'll ever go the old way of doing them again
