lol have just had a good morning hoovering (that is sad ) but friends do not understand my clean thing I do not go mad but hoover carpets and dust like my friend but do not clean like a mad woman I like clean but do not have to go to an operating theatre. Just making family is ok. DS loved playimg outside and no matter how dirty he got he loved it and he is now 36 and luckily he takes the same things with his son and daughter and they just love outdoors and don't mind being dirty and needing a wash. Have to say they are put in a bath and washed every night no matter what they do. Although viruses and infections we do keep an eye on.

Been having beautiful sunny weather here especially in the afternoon.
Great to get all the washing dry outside. Got quite a bit of ironing to sort out tomorrow though. Like to have everything up to date before we head off.

DD gave me miniature daffodils for Mothers Day last year so I planted them in the garden and I just noticed they have buds on them already. Hope the frost doesn't come back and kill them.

    Hope everyone is well.

Morning very sunny here too yesterday.

Hope your Daffodils survive Sheils. Love the spring flowers.

Forgot to say in between everything else GD managed to cut out and make a pumpkin from one of the craft books I won. Each page is double sided so it’s really just cutting out.

It was really very simple but looked so effective. She was delighted and immediately asked could she take the book home. As they came with one walk in case and two small back packs and already had extras to take back I’ll post it to her. She was seven last month I am sure it would be ok for someone younger. Book is great in that eachlant increases skills.

I also have to send GS the Kicker ball that turned up last year. The other one I won for younger GS last year has been brilliant. He’s only played with it when I have taken him to the park but now his skills have so improved at beginning of year he asked to join the after school football club and is enjoying it.

Both of these great results from comp wins.

Hope you are feeling better Chocolatelover. Heard of others who have it too.

Have a good weekend everyone. Good luck

Morning, i love winning craft prizes leanfun, i give them to my youngest nephew and he loves making things out of them. The kicker ball sounds great and i think they give kids confidence as well.
I have 1 daff head come out already but lots with buds on, like you sheils hope the frost stays away now. I have just trimmed Charlie with the scissors before i use the razor on him and he is not impressed, lol. He needs a cut now the weather has warmed up. I put all the fur i cut off on top of the garage for the birds to use in their nests. I heard them chattering away early this morning before it was light so knew spring is nearly here.Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok. :) It was a bit drizzly here first thing, but
brightening up now - so different from yesterday though!

Spent a good part of yesterday gardening, but couldn't get the
huge root out in the end, even with help from neighbour. It really
was such a stubborn blighter! :p

In the end we cut it back as much as possible & managed to
slice through quite a few of the roots, then basically left it to rot
away. It's nice to see a decent space now for the other plants to
    thrive & spread out a bit. :D

Many thanks for the book link leanfun, it looks & sounds
brilliant! :T I may order one for my eldest GD's sixth birthday,
(later this year). I'm sure she'll love it too! I'm never really sure
what to buy her & always check with mum beforehand, but I
know I'll be on a winner with this pressie! :j :grinheart

The football sounds excellent too, :footie: well done you! :D :T

What a brilliant idea indie re Charlie's fur! I bet the birds will
make good use of it re nest building. :T Yes - Spring is just
around the corner, it's so lovely to see all the daffs etc.

    What is World Pangolin Day?

Join us in celebrating the 8th annual World Pangolin Day and help
us raise awareness of the plight of pangolins! Pangolins are the
most trafficked mammal in the world, with conservative estimates
suggesting that at least 10,000 pangolins are trafficked each year.
Despite this conservation crisis, many people have never even
heard of them. These shy animals don’t get the same media
coverage that some larger mammals get, and World Pangolin Day
was created to raise awareness and support for pangolin
    conservation.

The critically endangered Sunda pangolin is a scaly mammal that
eats ants and termites and hides in dense forest. They are rarely
observed in the wild due to their secretive and solitary habits.
Slow moving and lacking teeth, their primary defense is curling up
into a ball, making them easy targets for poachers.

    the+pangolinasana.JPG

With over one million trafficked in the past decade, these once
common animals are now on the brink of extinction and are
    classified as critically endangered.

In China and Vietnam, their meat is considered a delicacy and is
sold for $350 per kg; their scales are used as fashion accessories
and in traditional medicine and can be worth up to $1,000 per
    kg >>>
