Hi all DS and DD1 have taken them out. Fortunately it just stopped raining as they went out. They are off to the Shrek attraction at the old County Hall. Managed to get half price tickets through ShowFilmFirst.

Hope you're all ok. Ending up having a very productive day
yesterday. Enjoyed my walk first thing, then went for my
regular appointment with Dental Hygienist.


When I arrived, I found they'd hired a temporary hygienist
(lovely girl) because mine had been skiing & a numpty snow-
boarder had crashed into her. _pale_ Ouch! She's ended up with
several broken ribs, hence the reason for getting someone in
to cover for her while she recuperates.


I've only ever been skiing once, years ago (a school trip to
Switzerland). Great fun at the time, but haven't been skiing
since though! Not sure I really fancy it now either! :eek:


Snap re Aunt Bessies Yorkie puds fire**fly. I went to local
supermarket yesterday afternoon to stock up & also bought
some! My son's coming down this coming weekend & he
does enjoy a good roast dinner.


Think this hedgehog poem is wonderful & wanted to share ....

I am a simple soul
With simple wants and needs
To trundle through your borders
And snuffle through your weeds

There beats a gentle heart
Within this spiky vest
I do no harm to anyone
And always try my best

I'll work within your garden
Devouring all the bugs
And keep your flowers pretty
My way of giving hugs

So please try not to strim me
Or poison me with bait
And don't forget to leave me
A gap beneath your gate

Had a lovely trip up to Pitlochry thanks. The weather was great!
The sun shone away for us and wasn't even that cold. I think they were going to get frost at night though. DS3 took us a nice circular walk along Loch Fiskally and into town and back by the fish ladder. Have always liked a visit up there. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express hotel near Glenrothes that we often use when up that way. We need so many Holiday Inn stays to get lots of extra points so that should be it now as the rest were already booked. Should get us an extra night.
Went to Aberdour yesterday on route home and it was beautiful down at the beach in the sunshine. some kids were making sandcastles. We had a look round the castle there as last time we went to it it was full of American cruiseship passengers so busy and very noisy!
Was nice to give car its first proper journey. Anyway back home now and will need to start making plans for our Chorley and Salford Quays trip. Feels like spring getting nearer!
Our colds are nearly better. Hope everyone else is well, especially your DS chocolatelover93.
Must get on.

Thank you for the well wishes for DS he is feeling lots better now but decided to pass it on to me and I now have as chest infection. So we're both on antibiotics and been on house arrest lol!

lol, Alfie them aunt Bessie yorkie puds are a godsend
neighbour told me to try the aunt Bessie's homestyle
roasted potatoes & thoroughly recommends them so
am going to order some of them as well,
saves all that peeling & part cooking lol :j
