Brain has been totally off beat lately. Yesterday at DD1 after collecting GS DD phones and I ask are you on train. No was the reply I’m going to a concert at O2. You agreed this last week. Ho no. I have no recollection Turns out the concert should have been last May was postponed and was last night. So we were home very late.
DH thought he heard someone knocking on door at 3am. I expect it was the wind but we were both awake for ages.
This morning there was great knocking on door. A DH delivery. I wasn’t expecting anything. Box was so tightly tapped. It was a bundle of books from Crafts Beautiful. Four Adult colouring books and 3 paper craft books.
Strange think is when neighbour came the other day I gave her the colouring pencils I won as she is into colouring in a big way. She was delighted said she wanted to buy some new books but she only shops locally and they don’t have them and she’s not on the internet. These will be great for her.
The craft ones already have ideas for GD who is now seven and loves grafts. Ideal for next week.
Indie intrigued to hear what your parcel is.0 -
Well done on the books leanfun. Lovely surprise. My parcel turned up and it was the iphone cases. First time i have had to sign for a mag daily win,lol.0

Been a lovely day here but looks like tomorrow will be wet and windy.
DS3 been enjoying the weather as so much warmer than Pitlochry has been. Perhaps the Highlands not the place for a winter break! Saying that we stayed there for 2 nights last January and it was fine.
Our town seems to have a load of tourists in it already which seems strange. Was speaking to shop assistant in Tesco and she was saying the same.
Took DDs dog a walk in the woods today so thats us off walking duties until Tuesday I think when she has an exam.
Well done on the wins indie and leanfun.
Hope everyone is having a nice day. Good Luck.

Hi all
:j Very well done on winning the bundle of books from Crafts
Beautiful leanfun - what a lovely surprise. Your neighbour will
be absolutely thrilled with the colouring books & the craft
books will be brilliant for the GKs next week! :TWell done on the books leanfun. Lovely surprise. My parcel turned up and it was the iphone cases. First time i have had to sign for a mag daily win, lol.
It does seem strange having to sign for them, but maybe they
could be mistaken for actual phones? Not really sure because
I've only got an ancient Nokia! Time I thought about updating
my phone, feel quite left out these days. But very well done
once again on your win indie. :T :j
It's been a beautiful day here ...... lull before the storm?
Ventured outside earlier & looked for any signs of damage
after a very windy night. Think I got off fairly lightly, 2 thingys
(technical term!:rotfl:) which attach the guttering to side
of the house (where the wind really whistles around) had come
loose. Two screws had completely disappeared - so neighbour
kindly came round & sorted them out for me.
Starting to see a few tourists here too sheils, particularly
Beaulieu way.
Not long back from my walk, forest is still fairly wet under-
foot but still had an enjoyable time, splashing through the
puddles!
Have a lovely evening all ......

well done on iphone cases win indie :j
have a lovely evening allx
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all ok.As predicted, it's a wet n' windy start
to the day here but not quite so bad as first thought!
Maybe it'll get worse as the day goes on although apparently
(according to local weather forecast), we may see a glimpse
of sun this afternoon!?Anyhow, seems it's going to be a
topsy-turvy weather day.
The Neighbourhood Alert organization is brilliant fire**fly &
they also cater for my local area too, so I'm kept up to date
with news, warnings etc (be it good or bad). Membership has
also grown over the past couple of years - can't praise them
enough, would thoroughly recommend. :A :T
Have a lovely & lucky Friday all, take care.

Thanks everyone for pics. Ho Sheils your pic is so good. It shouldn’t have but it made me smile. So hoping the wind will drop early tomorrow. GKs are booked to fly from Glasgow tomorrow lunchtime. Great you were able to go for your dog walking. Hope you are a lot better.
Alfie great you didn’t have too much damage and your neighbour was able to help.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.0
