    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok. :) Just a very light sprinkling of snow
here through the night, which seems to have eased off
now. Some parts of the UK have been hit particularly
    badly though.

I expected to wake up this morning to a quite a bit of
snow, being on amber alert, but thankfully my little area
seems to have missed the worst of it, (for now!)

Mind you, it was absolutely freezing yesterday evening,
even had to put an extra blanket on my bed. froidbonnet2.gif Brrrrr!

Think we're due sunshine later on today and over the
weekend though it'll still remain fairly chilly.

Hope your road was eventually cleared of snow sheils,
particularly as it's a bus route!

Have a lucky month all & please stay safe and warm today,
    whatever your plans.

    Good Morning,

Snow still lying here and road was never cleared Alfie. It was never deep snow and you would have expected the cars to clear it but they didn't. We only have a few buses running past into town and I think they had to be cancelled as the far hill into our scheme was too icy for the buses to get up. We never moved our car.

Have been booking a few nights away with Holiday Inn as sale on and points bonus incentive is on too so temptation was too much!

Hope everyone is ok and good luck for February. January wasn't a lucky month for me so fingers crossed February is better.

Like you Alfie our snow came in the night. Everywhere was covered but has gone this morning. Nothing like your great pic Sheils. Sorry to hear they didn’t clear your road. Great you have made some bookings.
    Good luck for Feb Sheils.

Alfie a couple of weeks agar instead of changing the duvet we put our delux quilt on the bed. The one from the bedroom win that would have cost a fortune to buy. It’s been sitting in a chest until then. Have to say it’s very light and super warm.

Late last night I found this article about Martin
    https://www.theguardian.com/money/2019/jan/31/money-saving-expert-how-martin-lewis-became-most-trusted-man-in-britain-consumer-finance-advice

I’ve been watching Politics live some days and the best bit ever was the day Martin was on Its only about a minute. Know exactly how he feels.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-46960493/martin-lewis-and-chris-skidmore-on-brexit-and-article-50

Let’s hope for a good February for everyone and good luck all.

Morning, i ended up going into work yesterday and we had snow the night before, it was still laying when i went but had all gone by lunch time. I had a win yesterday from the mag dailys, but only found it this morning as was too tired to check emails last night. I won Speck PRESIDIO CLEAR + PRINT IPHONE XS/X CASE, Speck PRESIDIO STAY CLEAR IPHONE XS/X CASE & GrabTab so a nice little win to start the month.
We have the sun out here so am going to get washing out, hopefully it will dry. Hope you all have a good weekend.

    :hello: Good afternoon all

Been quite a busy bee here today, went out early'ish for my
usual walk. We'd had another visit from Jack Frost in the early
hours, (after having sleet yesterday afternoon/evening).
Thankfully the sun was out & the ground wasn't too slippy, but
there was a very chilly wind. Brrrrrr! smileys-ill-604738.gif

My one complaint - a numpty had let their dog poop right in the
middle of quite a narrow opening, (with gate) that I sometimes
use. To make matters worse, someone had trodden in it &
it was all over the pathway. Double yuk! smileys-ill-696288.gif Not pleasant,
especially for the poor victim who'd stepped in it! Not a good start
    to their day! _pale_

Also, got stuck into a 'mega' comp catch up, so I'm more or less
up to date, for now! :p:D

Had a little potter around in the garden too, managed to sort out
a few bits and pieces that were needing doing. It's actually quite
pleasant out there now, still sunny but without the cold wind.
I'm expecting it to be another chilly evening though, same as
    yesterday.

^^^ Lol fire**fly - I've even got Bill & Ben figures, similar to
above, apart from the hats. They're both sat in a larger flowerpot
(filled with earth) that hangs on the front of my garden shed!
Their little legs dangle over the edge of the pot. :p :rotfl::rotfl:

    :j Wow! Wonderful win 1verre.gif many congrats fire**fly! :j :T

Many thanks for the brilliant links re Martin leanfun. :T I always
watch his TV show too (Monday ITV). Next one looks right up
our street - apparently he'll be explaining the possibility of
making money by entering competitions. :T

Have a lovely rest of the day all and please take care, whatever
    your plans.

agree with you Alfie re Double yuk! smileys-ill-696288.gifto dog poo :(
do the owners never stop to think about partially
    sighted/blind people or wheelchair users/disabled/elderly
that need to use the pathways,
makes my blood boil how they are so inconsiderate
love the bill & ben pots :j

I remember when mse had a spate of 'blocking' peeps a while
back sheils when posting pics etc it was advised log off & reset your router & that generally worked,

hopefully this will work for you x
