Evening everyone
Sheils - it's a very odd programme but kids seem to love it! We have to watch it every night lol.
Alfie - Spoke to my sons dad and he has bought him tickets for Oct! He's even bought me one as I couldn't afford one! It's a month before his birthday too so I'm sure he'll love it. I can't wait to see his little face when he sees them all!!
Iggle Piggle sat in my sons chair ready for dinner this evening haha.
Leanfun - I did't realize that, he is delayed on speech but I think it is helping him he keeps trying to say Iggle Piggle!
Off to enter a few comps now DS is in bed!

Brilliant news chocolatelover, your little boy will have such a
wonderful time! Perfect timing too, just a month before his
birthday. :j
I really love your photo of Igglepiggle waiting for dins with his
bowl!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm comping but watching the TV at the same time. Brilliant
programme on ITV at the mo: 'Britain's Top 100 Dogs Live'.
Not only do I love puddy cats, I'm a doggy lover too. :grinheart
There's also some incredible stories about the different
breeds. :A

:hello: Good morning all
Brrrr! Feels chilly here this morning, apparently we'll have
winter sunshine through the day but doubt there'll be much
warmth. Still, it'll be cheery to see the sun.
I had a suprise delivery yesterday of an architect’s pencil set michael graves. There are 24 pencils on Amazon £19.99. So these are going in the present cupboard for now. I could not find the comp anywhere.
We had a great night last night. It was another very small venue in the basement of Pizza Express. The singer was singing Billie Holiday songs one of DHs favourite singers. We made it hope just after midnight but was well worth all the effort. Feel a bit bleary eyed this morning.
Keep warm, take care and be lucky.
Well done leanfun - brilliant win! :j :T
Your jazz evening sounds wonderful.I bought 'Lady Sings
The Blues' LP years ago, always loved Billie Holiday. Interesting
link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billie_HolidayHave just been delivered a box of craft things to make cards ribbons etc so loads to do with GK's for the next few years (it is a huge bundle) GS will probably get fed up with it but dil gd and me will not. Do not usually enter craft things unless it is something I did as a youngster but this is something I did do. Off to find poster.
Excellent prize rose - very well done!:j :T
Another interesting article from Historic UK .....
Another article from our archives...The Epicure's Almanack. The

The Epicure’s Alamanck

The first ‘Good Food Guide to London’ was published in 1968. The
earliest guide to London’s best eating places, you might think? Not
so – ‘The Epicure’s Almanack’ was published in 1815. This guide
book to eating and drinking in Regency London has never been
updated or reprinted, and makes for fascinating reading.
For example, it appears that in 1815 there were three inns
situated near Westminster Abbey, called rather appropriately

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care, whatever
your plans.

Morning,
We have had a bit of snow through the night. So glad DD has a day off Uni (to prepare for a talk at school with another student who live in nearby village.)
chocolatelover93, it was The Teletubbies and The Tweenies I had to watch!
Well done on the wins leanfun and rose. Still nothing here.
Hope everyone is ok.

Morning everyone
Sheils - When I was younger it was noddy and budgie the little helecopter and then when my brother was born it was Teletubbies. I think the most amazing thing about in the night garden is that it was only on for 5 years and I think it was 2011 that they stopped making new ones yet 8 years later kids are still in love with them!
DS is at nursery today and I'm off work so it's a day chilling at home for me. Might do some decluttering as well.
Cold start this morning, heating is on and lots of layers and throws on this morning lol.
Well done on wins everyone, off to catch up on forum and enter some comps.
Good luck
