Morning everyone!
I've been lurking for a few days and throught I'd introduce myself.
I'm a first time Mum in my 30s, I work part-time and in my (infrequent) spare time enjoy going to the gym, reading and binge watching TV shows.
I'm new to comping so no wins yet, but I remain optimistic!
I hope everyone survived "Blue Monday" relatively unscathed and if you are currently suffering snow I pity you deeply!

Welcome to MSE OscarDoAndMummyToo! Sending some lucky dust your way
I don't think I ever actually introduced myself either....I turn 30 this year! I've been comping on and off for 10 years now.
I spend a lot of time on my gaming PC, mostly Overwatch. And I'm mummy to a 3 year old
I'm currently waiting for my daughter's dietician to arrive.... fun times! Can't stand the woman lol!Jan £162 / Feb £???0 -

Morning,
welcome OscarDoAndMummyToo good luck comping.Hope the visit fron the dietician goes ok Verksies. The suns out here now but like you Alfie it rained in the night then the frost came.I took son to Drs for an appointment then did a small shop. Came home and had to have a bath as the cold was in my bones and I couldn't get warm. I was called into work yesterday, and ended up on the residential floor. Very quiet as they do most things themselves. One of the ladies is 104 this year and was feeling a bit down as she has a chest infection and couldn't go for her usual walks. She walks outside in the grounds at least 3 times a day, lol. All we do is put her elastic stockings on and cream on her legs. She is amazing for her age. Anyway must get on, hope you all have a lucky day.0 -
Hi Oscardoandmummytoo welcome to the Inn and good luck.
Indie your 104 year old sounds amazing. Sorry you were so cold bath was a great idea.
Verksies sorry to hear about the little one. Hope the visit from the dietician goes ok. Some of these professionals can be ........ years ago I went to a speech therapist for GS with my DD1 I don’t know how I kept my cool. I never went with them again and a few years later suddenly the boy could say anything.
Yesterday morning was so sunny and warm. I had an appointment for a mammogram. Only just made it there as road round the corner from us was being resurfaced and you could not cross the road to the next roads where the buses were diverted. Good think I felt much better.
Thanks for links Alfie. Loved the penguin pic.
Sheils hope alls well in Edinburgh.
On Monday I had a WEM

It’s not till 3.30 and if it doesn’t snow i’ll Go.
Yesterday afternoon it rained and then snowed so snow only lasted awhile on top of cars. Just dull this morning. Hope everyone keeps warm.0 -
Morning, well done on the wins leanfun, hope the weather is good to you so you can go see the show. Glad you made it to the appointment yesterday, hate road works where you have to drive round in circles and can't see a way out.We have had a hard frost here last night and everything is white and it's very cold out at the moment. They have said the sun should come out later and melt it all but it's dull outside at the moment. Hope you all have a good day.0

Morning everyone!
Loved the links yesterday Alfie! Always wanted to do a race, just not in the best shape for it lol!
Hope the appointment went well leanfun, and congratulations on the wins! My daughter has a million and one professionals "looking after" her atm. Most are amazing.... one or two however leave much to be desired. My daughter is currently non verbal. SALT aren't really doing much though which is a shame. She has a lot to tell the world, you just need to know her language.
We've had some snow here... and its freeeeeeeeeeeeezing. Hoping for some warmer weather.
Stay lucky everyone!Jan £162 / Feb £???0 -
:hello: Good morning all
Brrrrr! Exactly the same sort of weather as you indie.Went
out first thing for my walk looking very similar to the Michelin Man!
:eek: :rotfl::rotfl:
The sun's out now but no warmth at all, although the frost seems
to have disappeared. Topped up birdie feeders earlier & sorted out
their bird baths which had all iced up. They're all happy now.
Your 104 years 'young' lady sounds brilliant indie. :T Good for her,
absolutely amazing! :A :T

Hello everyone
Hope it is ok to joinI used to post on here now and then a few years ago but haven't really been doing much comping
hope you're all good
Just a random question, how many comps does every one enter a day or how long do you spend comping a day?
Had my first win last week was some crochet books, I'm going to use the baby ones as a present for my SIL not sure what to do with the others as I cannot crochet but entered the comp with my SIL in mind haha.
