Received the following yesterday......
Our parking team, ever keen to keep the traffic 🚙🚗 flowing in
the New Forest, have asked some of the local inhabitants to keep
an eye on the double yellows. So far they're doing a great job 😆

I'm helping out again this year, it doesn't matter where you
live these days .... some people still thinks it's ok to leave/
drop their litter, for others to clean up. Makes me so
angry! Will be interesting to see what we find! _pale_
Have a lovely & lucky day and please take care, whatever
your plans.

Brrr... it was cold here last night and this morning. Sun has just come out.
Love your pic Alfie. I’ve seen those locals they certainly keep a watchful eye.
Thinking about litter. I have to say that is one of the things that has improved in our area. Thinking about it I used to be so upset about all the litter around our shops.
Hope everyone is keeping warm. Friefly great you have some warm things but take care and watch out for ice. I’m really afraid of falling on ice. Some of the pictures of snow look really brrr.
Be lucky.0 -
Morning everyone! Finally caught up on some sleep, my mother in law had our daughter last night.
Its freezing here, hoping we avoid the snow so I can get to work tomorrow.Jan £162 / Feb £???0 -
Seems it’s Winnie The Pooh Day today. Seen lots of quotes on Twitter. My favourite is

I always loved "Sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in your hearts"
Resonates with me so much because my daughter was a preemie, she was only 1lb12 when born!Jan £162 / Feb £???0 -
Afetrnoon folks. Freezing here again but no snow. Supposed to have some over weekend. Have GK's again later in the afternoon so have decided we will cook together for dinner. Have bought some pizza bases so they can decide what they want from fridge and make them theirselves. (think I spelled that wrongly) Hope everyone is keeping warm. Thankfully we don't have to crank up heating so far so bills should be a bit less. Although there are some up North of Scotland who do not escape snow and cold weather.0

Versksies great you had some sleep last night. Wow well done to you and everyone who helped with your prem little one. Very special. How old is she now? Hope you make it to work tomorrow.
Firefly great your shopping came. DH has brought bread so we are well stocked. DH went out and to make some appointments. To our amazement hospital gave him an appointment for an hearing test next week and foot clinic for February.
Rose expect the pizzas went down well
Must be feeling better I managed to catch up with ironing this afternoon.
Have a good evening everyone.0 -
Hi Verksies ! Glad you had a better nights sleep. Glad those days are way behind me apart from the odd "Mum I don't feel well" Days. Who doesn't feel better snuggled up next to mamma? (not me obviously the next day though..figgety children!) Plus I find as we have a shower room right next to my bed then if one of them is sick in the night its just a quick clean up.
Sixpences, I was born 78 so too young, hubby remembers using them still before they went out of circulation. I do recall half pences and being very sad as I had about £6 worth I had been hiding my mum came in and told me we couldn't spend them anymore, that was a fortune back then! (well it was for us)
Springclean sounds fab, i'll look it up and see if I can arrange one for the local group x
Sheils lucky you enjoy Scotland, Can't think why it's so much cheaper in winter. Brrr! :snow_laug War horse is amazing but so moving, I wish I had managed to see the west end show.
It is totally freezing here have washed up twice on purpose as my hands are crappy and got them snugged inside miser mitts and resting on a HWbottle.
Not too peaceful here one neighbour being nasty and fighting with his wife all the time (Shes in a gaslighting relationship..don't worry I keep an eye/ear out for her and a few of us are trying to help her move on and the police are aware..not that they can do much) He's a nasty man:mad::mad:
The other neighbour has started the major renovations so drill at 7am to 5 zzz
Another 2lbs lost (I think) no wins. So well done ladies for yours, I have seen entry numbers drop very much now xmas is over. See you soon x
