Thanks FireFly. Thought I was going to be like DH sore throat would come and go instead it’s developed into a head cold. Still hopefully won’t last too long and rest of me is ok.
DH has had another lot of bother collecting prescription. He had to go to chemist three times, which is no longer around the corner. Due to prescription not going through electronically from Doctors. Even though it said it had.
Indie hope they can find out what the trouble is for DSs GF.
Sheils great you enjoyed Newcastle. Sounds as though your win will be ideal for DD. Enjoy your DSs visit.
Alfie hope you are able to keep up the walking until you start on garden again.
We were due to pick up GS today but DD has been able to make other arrangements.
Take care. Good luck all.0 -
:hello: Good morning all
Yay! :j I'm loving the TopCashback comp (even if it does
gobble up the hours)!Managed to find 3 taxis yesterday
evening, lurking behind the elusive Hummingbird - won
£5 plus more entries into the grand draw! :j It's certainly a
clever way to get to know the site!
You're most welcome re the link I posted yesterday
fire**fly :A & I'm so pleased that DH enjoyed listening to
it. xx I love anything like that - find it so very interesting.
Yep, puddy is most definitely a catnip addict!Millie the
Mouse arrived yesterday evening, along with a larger felt
mouse (stuffed full of catnip), with the rest of her order.
Well, she went into instant soppy mode for a good couple
of hours with both toys, then crashed out on the settee -
sending up happy psychedelic zzzzz's!
Took the beloved mice upstairs when it was time for bed.
When we both got up this morning, Puddy started strolling
down the stairs, happy as can be. She was halfway down
when I 'gently' threw her beloved mice from the landing
(aiming for the bottom of the stairs), but unfortunately the
large felt mouse bounced off the back of her head  - never
seen her jump so high in all my life!:rotfl::rotfl: My throwing
skills are totally abysmal by the way! Never a dull moment
here! :rotfl:
Yesterday afternoon, after my walk I was also out doing
a bit of gardening, it was such a beautiful day, had to make
the most.
Sorry to hear about your DH having trouble re collecting his
prescription yesterday leanfun, must be so frustrating for
him. Sending get well ((hugs)) to you. xx
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Been a cold night here. Temperatures have been so strange this winter, one day up at about 8 and then down to 1 or 2. Have to keep changing jumpers and jackets. Didn't even leave heating on when we went away as forecast was for such high temperatures until last night.
Well done on the Topcashback wins Alfie. I usually win 10p at the most!
Always luckier on Quidco ones. I did win £1.30 last month though.
Hope your cold goes soon leanfun. Hate having the cold. DS3 quite often arrives with one and leaves having given it to us! He didn't have one at New Year though.
Must get on as I want to make tattie soup and steak pie for DS3 coming and have the dentist and hygienist in the afternoon.
Good luck all.

glad DH's has come & gone leanfun but sounds like
yours is not so nice ((hugs))
hope it clears up soon for you x
i have DH's prescriptions delivered now as he has quite a lot
of medication & i was getting muddled up sorting them out
so i phoned the docs & explained it was difficult
sometimes to collect them from the chemist &
asked if they could be
put in blister packs & delivered as we were
having difficulties with it all,
they arranged it all so things are easier now for it all thank goodness.
well done on topcashback wins Alfie :j:j
lol had to laugh at you throwing mousie for puddy,
have done that many a time & missed where aiming for :rotfl:
always cracks me up with the
indignant look they give! :rotfl:
your walks sound lovely & love hearing about them x
hope all went well at the dentists sheils & DS3 & you
all have a lovely dinner x

Morning, jack frost has visited again, and it's freezing outside at the moment.Well done on the topcashback wins Alfie. I have won 10p so far, lol. We watched the programe about the new forest last night and enjoyed it. DS,s GF hospital appointment went ok and she has a hiatus hernia but with dietry changes she should be able to cope with it. Glad you have the pills in blister packs ff, it makes things so much easier. I have nothing planned as yet for the day but that may change, hope you all have a lucky day.0

:hello: Hiya all
Brrrr! It was frosty here first thing too. The sun was out for a
while earlier but it's turning fairly chilly again now.
Got another forest walk in this morning and some numpty
hadn't closed one of the gates properly and there were quite a
few ponies nearby too. It doesn't take a second to double
check that the gates are clicked shut.
I watched the New Forest programme too indie, thought it
was spectacular. Loved the presenter - so very passionate
about it all.So pleased your son's gf's hospital appt.
went ok and they've found out was the problem was. Lol, I
only won 10p on Topcashback yesterday evening too, by
finding a Koala!:rotfl::rotfl:
I do hope your cold's a bit better today leanfun. Also hope all
went well with the dentist and hygienist yesterday sheils &
that you're all having a great time with DS3.
Lol fire**fly, I'm always getting indignant looks from puddy!
Even when I haven't even done anything! :rotfl::rotfl: She's
now sent the 'naughty' mouse to cat Coventry (the one who
'accidentally' landed on the back of her neck :eek:when
she was happily sauntering down the stairs the other morning).
Such a naughty mouse. She's now back playing
with Bertie the Budgie & Millie the little grey mouse - such a
fickle feline! :rotfl::rotfl:
